Aronik stormed out of the man door, his heavy boots thudding against the concrete floor. The acrid smell of smoke filled his nostrils, a stark reminder of the chaos that had erupted in the factory. He sprinted towards the smoke area, his heart racing with a mix of fear and fury.

"Cord, your family is here..." Aronik's voice trailed off as he caught sight of Kenneth, gasping for breath on the floor. Cullen and Cord were struggling to hold up Kessock, their faces etched with panic.

"What the fuck are they doing here?" Cord's voice was filled with rage, his eyes blazing with anger. He released Kessock, letting him fall to the ground with a thud.

"Why, Aronik, why would you bring them?" Cord's voice was laced with betrayal as he closed in on Aronik.

Suddenly, Ozzy appeared in the smoke area, a metal I-beam in his hand. Without a word, he swung it towards Cord, aiming to bash him over the head. But Aronik was quicker. He pulled out a pistol from his pocket and shoved Cord out of the way, firing a single shot.

The bullet cut through the air, a deadly force that could shatter not just one life, but many. The same bullet, in a different time and place, could be the one that takes away the love of your life. The one you never had the courage to tell how you truly felt. The one who will never know.

The bullet found its mark in Ozzy's heart, ending his life in an instant. A friend, taken away by a single bullet. A friend who will never know how much he meant to those around him.

Ozzy flew backwards, his body hitting the ground with a sickening thud. The I-beam clattered to the ground, a cruel reminder of the violence and chaos that had erupted in the smoke area.

"No, Ozzy!" Cord's anguished scream echoed through the smoke-filled air as he rushed to his friend's side. He searched for a pulse, but it was too late. Ozzy was already gone.

Cord stood up, his eyes filled with tears and his heart filled with grief. He turned to face Aronik, his voice trembling with emotion.

"Get out!" Cord's arm shot out, pointing towards the back exit gate. "We don't need to be fighting each other. Just get out!"

Aronik stood there, his hands trembling and his mind reeling with guilt. He knew he had made a mistake by bringing Cord's family here, and now an innocent life had been lost because of it.

In that moment, Aronik realized the true cost of his actions. He saw the devastation and heartache that his choices had caused. And he knew that he would never be able to forgive himself.

Aronik lifted the gun towards Cord, the cold metal reflecting the dim light of the abandoned warehouse. His finger hovered over the trigger, ready to unleash its deadly power. Cord's heart raced as he watched the gun inch closer to him, until it was pressed firmly against his chest. The weight of the gun pressed deep into his skin, igniting a fire of anger within him.

But it wasn't just anger, it was a raw, primal fury that consumed him. The gun didn't just scare him, it made him feel alive. It made him feel invincible. And in that moment, he would do anything to stop the madness.

"Shoot me," Cord taunted, his voice dripping with venom. "Do it, you coward."

Aronik's grip on the gun tightened, his mind racing with conflicting thoughts. He wanted to pull the trigger, to end this once and for all. But his arm began to shake, his resolve wavering.

"You're not gonna do it," Cord sneered, stepping away from the gun. "You're weak, just like you always were."

Aronik's eyes burned with fury as Cord's words hit their mark. But before he could react, Kenneth started coughing up blood. Cord rushed to his side, trying to help him, but it was too late. Kenneth's body convulsed as blood poured from his mouth, staining the cloth Cord had given him.
