Alesia's heart raced as she sat tucked under the covers, engrossed in her novel. The smell of Quentin's cologne filled the room, a familiar and comforting scent that she had grown to love. She could hear the sound of his hurried footsteps approaching the bedroom, and her body tingled with anticipation.
"Come on, we have to go," Quentin said, his voice urgent. Alesia reluctantly closed her book and slid out of bed, her bare feet padding softly on the carpet as she followed him out of the room.
As they made their way to the car, Alesia couldn't help but think about how much her life had changed since that fateful night on her birthday. She had left behind her old friends and her family, and now she was living in a luxurious house with a man she barely knew. But something about Quentin drew her in, and she couldn't resist his charm and his mysterious past.
They arrived at a lavish party, hosted by Quentin's father Damien. Alesia couldn't help but feel out of place among the wealthy and powerful guests, but Damien welcomed her with open arms. He was the only one who knew her true identity, and she had grown to trust him.
As the night went on, Alesia found herself lost in the music and the laughter, enjoying the company of Quentin and his friends. But the thought of Quentin's offer still lingered in the back of her mind, the promise of a new life with him. She had never felt such a strong connection with anyone before, and she couldn't help but wonder if this was love or just a fleeting infatuation.
But as the night drew to a close and they returned home, Alesia couldn't help but feel like she was living in a dream. She had never imagined her life would turn out like this, but she couldn't deny the excitement and happiness she felt with Quentin by her side. And as she lay in bed that night, she couldn't help but think about what the future held for them both.
"Why, where are we going?" Sia asked, her voice laced with fear and confusion as she threw off the covers and swung her feet to the floor. The cold air hit her skin, making her shiver as she walked towards him. He was packing frantically, throwing things into the suitcase, most of it just falling right back out. Some of it missing or nearly missing and hanging on the side of the suitcase. As he threw a shirt, it hit Sia in the face and she felt a spark of anger ignite within her. She grabbed her coat and walked towards the door, determined to leave this chaos behind.
Quentin yelled at her, his voice desperate and pleading, begging her not to go. But she couldn't stay, not anymore. She slipped on her shoes, her heart heavy with the weight of her decisions, and walked out of the house.
She walked down the road, the cold wind biting at her skin and the sound of passing cars fading into the background. Her mind was filled with thoughts, thoughts of regret and doubt. She questioned every decision she had made, from getting with Quentin to still being with him. Dropping out of school and cutting off ties from her friends.
But her thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the blinding headlights of a car coming directly towards her. Before she could react, she heard the screeching of tires and the sickening crunch of metal. The last thing she saw before everything went black was the face of the man she loved.
Quentin jumped out of his car and ran to her lifeless body, his heart breaking at the sight. He pulled out his phone to call for help, but before he could even dial, a gun was pressed to his head.
"Sleep tight," the man holding the gun said with a chilling voice. Quentin's world went dark as he fell to the ground, his fate now in the hands of a stranger with a deadly weapon.
"Dad?" Quentin gasped, his voice barely audible over the deafening sound of a hammer crashing into his skull. Blood sprayed everywhere, drenching him in a sticky, crimson shower. Sia's eyes widened in horror as she watched Quentin's father relentlessly beat him to death. She screamed, but the sound was drowned out by the sickening thuds of the hammer. Blood splattered her face, blinding her for a moment. When she could finally see again, she saw Quentin's lifeless body fall to the ground as his father turned towards her.
