The day that Terry, or Harry as he went by now, left the family's homestead, he headed to York County. The family resided in Cumberland County, a near neighbor to the county he ventured to. When he arrived at the regional police station, his heart pounded against his chest, the familiar scent of fear and adrenaline filling his nostrils. He could feel the weight of his badge against his chest, a constant reminder of the responsibility and danger that came with his job. As he stepped out of his car and walked towards the entrance, he couldn't help but be reminded of the countless cases he had worked on in the past. The gruesome images and haunting memories of death and torture that he could never erase from his mind.
But today, he was here for a different reason. The regional police station had called him for help. As a detective, he had seen it all - the worst of humanity, the darkest of secrets. And yet, as he made his way towards the front desk, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement and curiosity. What could they possibly need his help with this time?
His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on his car window. Startled, he turned to see his nephew, Hank, and his eldest son, Triton, standing outside. Triton was a mystery to most, even to Terry himself. Everyone had assumed that Cord was his eldest son, but in reality, it was Triton. Terry had never been there for him, always choosing work over family. But now, here they were, his two sons, both in the same line of work, both a reminder of his past mistakes.
"Hello, Hank...Son," Terry said, his voice betraying the disgust he felt towards himself. He had never wanted Triton to follow in his footsteps, but he couldn't deny that he was proud of him. Triton had always been a complex and intriguing character, a mix of his father's stubbornness and his mother's passion. And now, as they stood face to face, Terry couldn't help but feel a pang of regret for all the years he had missed with his son.
As they walked towards the front desk, Terry couldn't help but notice the similarities between the two of them. Both in their mid-twenties, both with the same determination and drive. Triton's mother had been Terry's high school girlfriend, the first person he had ever loved. But when she had told him she was pregnant, Terry had let fear and anger get the best of him. He had left her and his unborn child behind, thinking it would ruin his life. But now, as he looked at Triton, he couldn't help but think that he had made the biggest mistake of his life.
As they entered the police station, Terry's mind was filled with a mix of emotions - regret, guilt, and a sense of longing for the son he never truly knew. But most of all, he was filled with a newfound determination to be there for Triton, to make up for all the lost time. And as they sat down with the chief to discuss the case, Terry couldn't help but feel a sense of pride for the man his son had become, a man who had chosen to follow in his father's footsteps, despite all the pain and hurt he had caused.
Triton, the young and fearless soldier, walked with determination through the bustling streets of York County. He had been trained since the age of eighteen to serve his country and was known for his unwavering dedication to his duties. But even he couldn't have predicted the events that were about to unfold.
It was a dark and stormy night, and Triton was called upon by President Glama himself to do something he had never imagined he would have to do. The weight of this task hung heavy on his shoulders as he made his way to the precinct, where his father Terry, a seasoned detective, awaited his arrival.
"Dad, welcome to York County. We need your assistance on a case. It is detailed and way above what some of us are capable of handling," Triton explained, his voice filled with urgency and a tinge of fear. Terry's face lit up with pride and a sense of purpose as he followed his son into the precinct.
As they walked, Triton briefed his father on the details of the case. "What we have so far, Uncle Terry, is there are five teenagers. One is dead, the body found in a river just outside of Spring Grove. The four others seem to be unharmed and have been questioned. However, no evidence leads to them killing their friend."
