Dark eel water

" Finally caught up to you," he said.

With a surprise expression, Ottar and Lora ask about his presence.

Before Dave could answer, the eels return once again. This time with more friends and they are all much more fearsome then before.

" I will discuss this later, right now need to escape," said the stern looking red hair man aiming his bow and arrow back at the eels.

Remembering what she read from the book about these creatures. Lora explain in detail that they are called the dark water eels. Lacking vision, they hunt by sensing the vibrating movement for their preys once entered their field of senses. But once they figure out your location. Even if you escapes their senses radius they will track you down and won't stop until you become their prey.

To save themselves Lora and Ottar need to quickly head to dry land. But that is easier said than done with the enter surrounding water is infested with these slimy bastards.

Lora explain furthermore the plan to save themselves and that is get off the water and make a dash towards the solid land up ahead.  The land is not too far from where they are, the prefect safe zone. With the dark water eels begining to attack the duo, trying everything to eat them whole with their massive open mouth. They skillfully avoid being dinner of these things. Coming from Ottar he transform part of their hand into claws to slash away at the eels.

The bigger they are, the easier target they will be. The eels flinch in pain and escape back underwater. Leaving a path of them to swim across. But the eels are all relentless, continue to chase after the Lora and Ottar. Way too eager to devour them by popping up underneath to eat them. Dave manage to save them by shooting explosion arrow underwater to disturb the eels senses.

With this advantage, they manage to escape the water of the dark water eels and made it to solid land where the creatures could not get to them.

Standing over a cystral clear lake some time after, the new trio reward themselves with a nice cool drink of the running spring water gushing out of the stones underground, flowing into the very lake that is surprisingly in a place like this. Guess you can expect nothing normal from the Forbidden zone.

After taking their times drinking, Ottar is the first to question the sudden arrival of Dave, the crimson fang alpha. Seeing that the stuck up red hair guy stares at Ottar for his question before turning his eyes elsewhere. The guy attitude just now didn't sit well with the black moon alpha. First he help them against the eels and now he is just going to complete ignore the question that have been on everyone mind since his arrival.

" What is your problem?" Ottar ask.

" Did I told you that I had a problem," he remark with an annoy expression.

Ottar begin arguing with the guy.

" Even if you help us, don't think that I am going to let that attitude fly with me."

Lora times into the argument before it could get out of control. Calming them down before things escalate into a fight.

" Come on now, let just hear him out first," she said calmly stepping between the two kings to push them both away from each other.

Clearly, the only one who have their head on. Dave words follow after a deep sigh.

" First of all, I only help the girl, not the black moon mutt."

Speaking to Lora directly while ignoring Ottar who is still piss off by the guys attitude in the background.

" Why did you chose to help me? Lora ask.

" What, don't tell me that you fall head over heels of her," Ottar assume as he tense Dave who always carry a serious expression.

Odviously Lora wasn't a fan of Ottar words, so she harshly hit Ottar in the stomach to shut him up. Annoyed by Ottar, Dave turn to set out. Explaining to Lora that he only save her because he believe that the beast wolf from last night is coming after her.

Dave explained his reasoning for coming after them is that he hopes to run into the beast wolf and get revenge of his pack by killing the thing himself. Ottar laugh a bit, because the  last time they team up to fight the beast wolf. They were no match for it.

" What make you thing that you will be able to beat it now?" Ottar asks.

Reminding the two of how he rescued them earlier from the dark water eels.

" The exploding arrows was enough damage the beast. So it is possible to kill it if I hit it at the right spot."

Lora lending forward to examined the arrows. She ask Dave if her made them himself. With confirmation, Lora is impress by the guy craft, Ottar feeling a bit annoyed. Truly ask Dave if he really up for that challenge.

" We may have got off the wrong foot eariler, but that doesn't change anything that happen before," Dave said standing close to Ottar. His eyes still full of resentment.

Ottar, not backing down after seemingly sensing Dave intention bringing up their past conflict. They both have killed members from each other pack. It was a misunderstanding now their parts, but the fact still remains that each have the blood of the others slaughter brothers on their hand.

With the tension building up as it seem like one of the were going to make a move first. Both alpha suddenly found themselves push into the water. Thanks to the irritated Lora, which shocks the two males. In a gleeful tone, she voice her thoughts angrily at the two still floating in the water.

Putting it straight and telling them to get their shit together. Angrily she storms off leaving the two bewitting. To think they, two alpha would get scolded like that from a girl younger than them. But Lora is right, everything that happen before was all a misunderstanding, and if Dave is right about the beast wolf coming after them. It would be best to be able to fight on equal footing.
