Overwrite

It is crumbling down, the mountain. Everything is a blaze by the powerful lightening that struck the mountain peak. To think that Aisha would go that far the break the pact with Alec to cause this insane phenomenal. Luckily, both Lora and manage to escape, helping each other to drag their beaten and weaken body with their shoulder link to support each other.

On the outside things aren't that safe either as the lightening cause a massive forest fire spreading all throughout mountain. Stay any longer and their will be caught up in the intense burning inferno that was once a mountain. Looking back at the place that is now the graveyard of his fallen pack. Ottar silently said goodbye to his friends, his family, to Aisha who have being with him through a lot on this journey.

" May you soul find it way to the great moon."  Ottar finally words before going into the wolf form, having Lora ride on his back quickly heading down the blazing mountain to get to safety. At some distance away. They two look at the mountain still burning from top to bottom. Feeling very complex about her own feeling towards Aisha struggling all because of what her family did in the past. The war and everything else. Is is really right to blame herself or her own family for the misery their bought on the island of wolves. Lora question herself loud about this feeling and what to do.

Only to have Ottar to reveal that he is actually feeling the same too. He also blame himself for not doing a better job to protect Aisha from the pain and abuse. This world is truly not equal for all. Only the luckiest one get what they want and Lora thought of that after realizing that she had lost the fire and snow lily to save her father. With only Ottar revealing that he had it on him the entire time.

With the fire and snow lily, they have at least a day or two to get back to the safe zone to leave the forbidden zone before it closes. The two get ready to depart. Lora still remembers that she is still a wanted rouge by her village, she isn't sure she can set foot inside the village. So as a promise, Ottar will have to be the one to give cure to her family so that they can follow the instructions in the book to product a cure for her father.

Before Ottar could agree, they were suddenly attack with arrows shooting at them. It only land at their feet but is still startled them. The ones behind the attack is surprisingly, Kong and the rest of the Silver lotus pack. But why are they here so far into the forbidden zone? 
Lora wonders.

" Don't tell me that you guys really follow me all the way out here to kill me?" Lora asks.

" As a rouge of the northern village it is my duty as the alpha to end you," kong replied to Lora.

Ottar steps in to defuse the conflict that have who have no place in this matter so Kong rudely shut him out.

" I will let the fact that you sneak into my camp slide, but if you stand in my way, I will cut you down as well," Kong said angrily.

" Kong listen, I can prove my innocent, I have the cure of father poison, if you let me cure him then..."

" Then what!!" kong shouted all of a sudden. " " Why should I believe the words of a human?" he ask.

Irritated Lora ask loudly.

" Why do you hate me so much. I am human but I never did anything to you. So why please tell me. What is the reason for you and your pack to track me down all the way out her? Do you really have to go this far, all that I am trying to do is to save my father."

The surface of Kong voice change, like if he is seeping with a striking pain in his heart making his voice and expression seem sorrowful about the past, 20 years ago to be exact.

Kong allowing his men to lower their weapon answer why by giving his story.

" We have been through it all, your father and I. Until you a human came a change it all."

He looks at Lora with scornful stares fill with hatred. But it wasn't actually toward Lora herself but her race.

Kong mention Alec, who fought along his father and I during the war 20 years ago.

" I was there with him all the time, watching his as he grow. Taught him everything he need to know to become a great warrior like his father.

I watch when he bravely block an attack to protect his father from the human duty trick. Only to get knock off a cliff, never to be seen again now matter how much Wayne and I have search for his body. Wayne truly felt regretful.

But even since you, the human girl came to our island. Wayne change alot, he somewhat started to forget about his son and begin to raise a human girl. A human who was responsible for the death of his son.

It was my fault, I didn't think much of it because I thought that this was his way of getting over his trauma for not being strong enough to protect his son. I promise myself and to Wayne that I will never let something like what happen to his son happen to him.  But I broke that promise when you tried to kill him. A wolf must always keep his words. If not, then you are not considered a noble wolf.

I must fix this broken promise not only to myself but to my dear friend that I fail to protect."

After his explanation, not once throughout his speech had Kong's voice waver or crack. Everything that he said came straight from the pure blooded wolf. This really show Lora just how much Kong care for her father, his close friend. Kong who is truly only on his belief of being a noble and proud wolf. Lora came up with a way to overwrite the situation by challenging Kong noble standing.
