Dashing quickly until they two wolves got  block off by a deadend, Luka tries to find another way around but once he pick up a strong a scent of blood oozing out of Rivera's injury back leg, he become considerate of the girl condition. Knowing that it will make it more difficult for the her to continue running like they are, even if they manage to find a different route to take to get away from Billy and the others. Who may I remind you are still just up ahead of them, drawing closer and closer.

Thinking long and hard on what to do about the situation, Luka think about his sister and what would she do in this situation. Remind of his dream to become a great warrior like his father thanks the words of a recalling  memory the he just had. He surprises Rivera after he stands tall in front for her, growling like the beast he is, the moment Billy and his guards show up.

They is no way a little pup like Luka is going to intimidate them, they thought. Billy in wolf language, orders his men to surround the two corner brats. Which they happily did, seeing easy target corner like this is a wolf best treat. Whether they are hunting prey for food or for fun. This is they nature by law. Around half of dozen wolves, including Billy circle around them. With joy and for entertainment, the bigger wolves messes with Luka by doing fake attacks to let his guard down before striking him from the other side where his blind spot is after finding an opening.

Seeing Luka desperately fighting off the guards, Rivera feels ashame not being able to help in this crisis because of her injury. Losing blood rapidly is not a good fit anyone, especially when facing off their surrounding enemies. Rivera thinking of any possibilities to save Luka who is getting beaten, claw slash, and even bitten and thrown around like a rag doll. His red blood paint the area over his beautiful silver fur, the attackers droolling with blood stain fangs, the blood of the still fighting Luka.

Even so Luka didn't give up and pushes himself to the absolute limit with one finally battle howl. Billy now annoy that the boy isn't giving up the fight.. He launch an devastated attack knocking back the little Luka. The force of this blow was enough to completely shatter Luka fighting spirit. Leaving him slump over the ground as his body riddle in pain. Clearing showing the gap between a beginner like him and a season warrior like his opponent.

Body beaten, but Luka's  eyes are still filled with the fire of determination. Readying his finally strike to close those eyes of Luka. Billy as he was about to land a killing blow. He quickly realizes that Rivera isn't in the area that she was suppose to be. Looking around for her thinking that she couldn't have gotten   far with that injury. They all then soon find out that the escapee is actually a lot closer than they think. So close in fact that she is actually standing on the top of a high tree in her human form.

Wondering why she is up there. Rivera using her claws to cut a strange rope that was attach to the tree. By doing so, a large net fell from the branches of the trees on top of them. Billy and all. It turns out that Lora have already set up traps in this area as well and Rivera remember that after a while of observing the area they were in. In the past, beasts from the forest would sneak their way inside Lora special place, so of course she would set up traps that will help defend their secret hideout. Since Lora and Rivera always play together as kids in this spot, Rivera would naturally remember about it.

The ropes are just normal ropes which is easy to cut through with the sharpness of a wolf claws and fang. Which Billy tried to do but is quickly put to a halt by Rivera. After seeing that Billy was escaping, Rivera quickly cast a magic spell after jumping off the tree. A sleeping spell that can put the toughest of  assholes to sleep once she pour all her magic into it. Safe now, Luka closes his eyes thinking that he did his best and he hopes it is enough for Rivera to acknowledge him as a true warrior, as a true man.
