Sabertooth lion

The moon and the stars fill the sky as Lora and company find themselves walking through the thickets of the forest, the unexpectedly trio continuing on the journey. With the all motivated Lora leading the pack accompanying by the two bickering alpha males with completed opposite personality for each other.

Since joining force, these two have been at each other throat from the beginning. Never in her wildest dreams Lora would have even imagine being annoyed by two handsome guys following behind her. To constantly listening to Ottar and Dave back and forth argument after the misunderstanding with the beast wolf is driving her quite nuts.

Despite deciding to fight on equal footing the two only agree to do so when the times come. That time is not now.

Now that it is already getting dark, it would be best go set up camp to rest right. Using an excuse to gather fire wood while ordering Ottar and Dave to hunt something for them to eat of dinner. Lora hopefully can use this moment away from them to get some peace and quiet. Especially now that she need to review the book once again about any addition information about two nature mountain. Which the book explained that it is not only the heart of the forbidden zone itself but the entire island.

Mainly because of the rare plants that grow on the mountain called the fire and snow lily.

The fire attributes of the plant once taken will burn away all toxic and impurity from ones  body, then the snow attribute will act as a cooling agent to remove the effect of the fire attributes. This plant with two different properties compliment each other very well. Pondering on, Ottar and Dave are just like these two plant. Lora giggling at the thought to see these two working together quite well just like the fire and snow lily.

Just than a monsterous roar is her near by which makes Lora fling in fear before standing on guard with her spear. The sound of that creature is near by, she can feel it lurking around her dark forest as it is taunting her. An instinct all predator does went looking down on it prey. Especially one that is alone. Feeling the danger approaching Lora instincts are tell her to quickly leave the forest. So in a flash she is quick to head back to find Ottar and Dave.

Believing that they too had heard the sound so is probably already on their way to find her. As quick as her danger instincts kicks in, Lora moves out of danger as she got intersected by a man eater sabertooth lion that nearly pounce on her from the corner of the forest. Grateful they her danger instincts kicks in at the very last moment saving her life otherwise she would have been ripped apart by that beast.

Entering the deeper parts of the Forbidden zone a while ago. Which mean there is more danger lurking around than ordinary. One of those danger being the beast call the lion sabertooth. Cat like monster that look like lions with giant like tusk for teeth, hanging off the corner of both side of their jaw like a sabertooth tiger from the late bc.   

The sabertooth lion now slowly taunting Lora with its movement. The girl is left with no choice but to stand and fight. She tries jabbing her spear at the beast but to no luck as the beast uses his massive paws every time to deflect her attack. Lora too manage to dodge a few of the beast blows. Only receiving a cut on her hand from its claws. The beast then jump at Lora, with Lora skillfully jumping to the side as well, stabbing the beast in the neck with her spear after seeing an opening. With the beast dying shortly after bleeding out.

The cracking sound of twigs and barks behind her worry her. Shock to see that the sabertooth lion is actually still alive. The prideful beast stands once again to face the adversary who inflicted such as blow to its body. Preparing for another fight, Lora then begin to feel strange. She wonder why she is suddenly feeling a little bit dizzy just like that. Feeling an aching pain on her arm where the beast have harmed her earlier. The wound is now showing an usually color.

" It's poison," Lora came to that conclusion.

If the beast would have stay dead she could have neutralize the poison. What to do now, this beast won't just leave her alone. While quickly thinking of a way out get out of her current perdiculment. The sound of rushing water could be heard from the slight moment of silence just now.

" Is there a river nearby?" She ponder.

Believing that this her chance, she quickly runs toward the sound of the river. With her plan to not only neutralize the poison a bit by using the water, but to also get away from the sabertooth lion since all cats hate water. And with the injury she have already inflicted on the beast, it isn't as agile as before, giving Lora enough time to get to the river on time and leap off the ledge into the freezing cold body. Looking back to see that the beast is not  daring to come after her now that she is swimming to the other shore of the river.

It definitely surprise her seeing the desperate action of the beast when it suddenly launch  itself into the water.

" I thought cats hate water." Screaming on the surface of her voice.

The beast not wanting to let it prey get away. It gotten eaten by a much bigger predator that submerged from the water. A massive killer croc bite into the lion pulling it under the water. It must have been drawn by the scent of the blood that was gusting out of the sabertooth lion. That would explain why she wasn't target. Giving her enough time to get to the other side.

Exhausted from the many eventful minutes one thing after the other. The girl soak from head to toe don't even have anytime time to catch her breath as she still need to worry about the poison.

But unfortunately it was already too late for her. She really have understimated the sabertooth lion poison, believing that it was just a simple poison but only to find that it was more terrifying than she thought. Feeling the muscle in her limbs quickly numbing causing her to feel paralyzed, she regret if this really is the end for her. Truly feeling like she will dies this time around. Now founding it hard to breath, her eyes are forcing to close despite Lora attempt to keep them open, for her father's sake. In her last moment she picture her father walking up to her from the distance.

But wait, is this really a hallucinations because she can feel like someone is actually  picking up her body. Appearantly it turns out to be Ottar and Dave who track Lora down after they both finish off the rest of the sabertooth lion pack. Lora have already fallen unconscious not knowing the two bricker fools is her savior.

No matter how much these two look down on each other. They did agree to put their difference aside when times like this occur. That's the deal they made and a wolf must always keep their words or less.

A bigger danger have emerge from the depths of the raging river. The same giant croc that unintentionally save Lora from the sabertooth lion. Seem like the snack before wasn't enough to fill it massive stomach.

Hunger of more, the giant croc turn it pitch black eyes to the two alphas. Dealing with this giant croc wouldn't be a problem for them, but fighting this thing while protecting the unconscious Lora will be troublesome.

" Get out of the way!" shouts from the distance could be heard. A group of warriors from the distance spot the giant croc with arrows raining down.

It turn out that the ones responsible for the save is actually Aisha and the others members of the black moon pack. Happily reunion with their long last alpha.
