“This conference is long overdue. For the past few months I have been acting as your Alpha. I can't really say acting because it's really a birthright. Anyhow I haven't put my all into it I can assure you though in light of recent events that's changed. I wanted to tell you today that although we were attack this will make us stronger, bring us together. We all have a common goal here it's to protect our family our way of living, and you can rest assured I'm not going to let anything happen to the people of Dark Moon. I signaled liam to turn off the camera and ran a hand through my hair, pulling trying to relieve some of the pressure from the giant headache I had.

“You did good honey.”

James came over and wrapped his arms around me, burying his face into my neck. He smelled amazing and looked amazing in his short sleeved white v-neck that showed off his muscles and jeans that hung dangerously off his hips. I bit my lip and had to close my eyes to steady myself.

“ Careful joss isn't that how you got pregnant the first time.”

I ignored Zoe's taunt.

“Thanks can we go up to our room now I'd like to lay down.”

“Yeah are you okay?” he ask pulling back from me a look of concern crossing his face.

“Yeah I just have a bad headache.”

He picked me up and carried me up to our room. He laid me gently on the bed and stood staring at me worry still on his face.

“I'm going to call Sophie you don't look well at all.

He left the room leaving me alone I felt one of the babies kicked which shocked me it had never happened before. Unfortunately they kicked me in the bladder I attempted to sit up when I felt liquid slide down my legs.

“Oh my gosh I did not just pee myself.” I said to myself.

“What are you doing?” James asked walking back into the room.

He tried to lay me back down but I pushed him away and tried to get out of the bed at the same time.

“Jocelyn calm down.”

I was successful in standing I was about to tell him I thought I had peed myself when a crippling pain sent me to the floor.

“Oh my god whats wrong with me?” I said panting as another wave of pain had me gripping the covers on my bed.

I was half standing half leaning on my bed for support. It dawned on me maybe I was having contractions but that couldn't be it I still had one week til they were due.

“Jocelyn I'm here tell me what wrong.”

“I-I think the babies are coming. Uhhhh ohmygodohmygodohmygod this is horrible.”

“Lets get you back in bed. The doctor will be here soon.” he said lifting me easily.

I heard the numbers on the phone being dialed, the ringing. I tried bringing my knees up as another contraction hit.

“Sophie you need to come now shes gone into labor.”

“I'll be there.”

“You here that honey she going to be here soon just hold on.” James said slipping his hand in mine and brushing away some hair that was plastered to my forehead by sweat.

The only response he got from me was me squeezing his hand as another contraction hit. This had to be the worst pain I had ever felt before. I imagine this is what getting his by a semi must fill like.
