Most students clapped after his speech was over, but I crossed my arms across my chest and glared at him.

I'm just a hurdle? Is this dude Sho from the sports festival?

"Whoa. He's so serious." O said.

"Be on guard." Tokoyami said.

"He's taking intensity lessons from you, Roki." Sero said.

I came up with that nickname to clarify. I was coming up with nicknames for him, but Sero took that one from me.

"Wait, you think so?" Sho asked.

"Yeah."

"I like this guy." Monoma said.

"Shouldn't we be getting on with this, Vlad?" Dad asked.

"Time for combat training! This will be a battle between class A and class B, here at one corner of Field Gamma. You'll be grouped to teams of four. Each competing one at a time." Mr. Vlad King explained.

"That sounds like fun. Hope it's a good mix." A girl from class b said.

"Me too!" A girl with a mushroom hat said.

"With Shinso, that makes 41 competitors. So, won't it be impossible to divide the teams equally?" A beast asked.

"This is why he'll be participating in two matches. One time with us and one time with class A. In other words, two of the five matches will be five against four. Prepare yourselves."

"That's super unfair for the smaller team!"

"It's probably more of a disadvantage to have an inexperienced Shinso on your side. The larger team will have the advantage in numbers but also a handicap."

That's kinda mean.

"Listen closely to the scenario. You're all hero agencies trying to capture a villainous organization. Consider your opponents to be evil criminals. You'll win if you capture four competitors."

"They do say villains are organizing more these days." The mushroom girl said.

"Keepin' it nice and simple!" Tetsutetsu said.

"Aww! We're heroes but villains to the opposing team? I've lost this sort of roleplay before!" Iida announced.

"This does go against your nature." Yao-momo told him.

"In your team's base camp, you'll find an adorably decorated prison. Once you put your enemies behind bars, that will count as a capture." Me. Vlad King continued.

"Who designed that thing?" Kaminari asked.

But I was thinking the same thing. It was a huge prison but with the principal's face and paws on it.

"It would be most efficient to try and disarm our opponents and capture them near their own bases. But I doubt it'll be that easy." The beast-like student said.
