"Hey, I'm sure you'll be able to go back when they reopen. Especially if Todoroki is by your side." Zu wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Thanks. Maybe you should join us!" I suggested.

"Oh, it would be an honor but I'm not sure. There are still other agencies."

"Well, I'll be waiting for you then."

Before he could say anything, dad spoke to the others again.

"Listen up. Kirishima. You should focus on forcing your opponent into a head on fight."

"Yes, sir!"

"Koda, it's exactly as you said. Increase the accuracy with which you can control animals. Don't rush. Think about your enemies weakness."

"Mhm." Koda nodded.

"Kaminari! You weren't serious at the start. Are you only strong if your team's in trouble?"

"No." Kaminari answered sadly.

"Asui. Focus on how to recover from a mistake instead of the mistake itself."

"Yes, sir."

"Use what you learned today to improve your future. Dismissed."

"Yes, sir!"

Dad walked off and so did my classmates. But Shinso stayed behind, playing with the scarf.

"Hey, I'll be right back." I told Zu.

"Hm? Okay, I'll be here." He went back to writing in his notebook.

I walked over to Shinso and waved my hand in front of his face.

"You still here, Shinso?" I joked.

"Hello, Aizawa." He said, not looking up at me.

"How many times have I told you not not call me that. It sounds like my dad."

"Well, yeah. You both have the same last name." He said, now looking up at me.

I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I-- I actually have nothing to say to that. It's true. Still, call me Mai."

"Are you going to call me Hitoshi?"

"I thought you weren't here to make friends? Let me guess. You changed your mind?"

"How'd you know?"

"Just a guess." I shrugged and turned around towards Sho.

"Well, it's not like you and I are friends." I said, turning back around.

I could see the look of confusion on his face.

"What do you mean?"
