After they were put into the jail, I walked over to Dad and Hitoshi.

"The grounds were completely wrecked. It was so different from the first match." Hitoshi said.

"This is what being in the hero course is like. That said, they did go a little overboard." Dad explained.

"I think it was more than a little." I said, standing next to dad.

"It's almost time for your match. Are you nervous?" Dad asked me as he put his arm on my shoulder.

"Not really. I trust that Bakugo will come up with a good plan and we'll easily win."

"You're following Bakugo?"

"Just for today. Something tells me to let him take over the leader spot."

"Hm."

He dropped his arm but I clinged onto it.

"Fukidashi, Kendo, remember your surroundings. Damage should be kept to a minimum." Mr. Vlad King said.

"Yes, sir!" Fukidashi said.

"Sorry about that!" Kendo replied.

I let go of dad's arm as he walked towards Mr. Vlad.

"Are you really not nervous about your match?" Hitoshi asked me.

"No. I believe in my team."

----

"Ahaha! That match was an overwhelming victory for the superior class! Just like at the school festival, class b is certain to come out on top! It couldn't be more obvious. Aw, you poor losers, no need to look so frustrated. It's not your fault. We're just better. Accept inferiority! Ahahah-"

Kendo cut Monoma off like she always does and pulled him away.

"Apologies!" She called out.

"He's a broken record that needs to be set on fire." Mineta said.

"I don't know why he talks like that, when he knows she's going to smack him." Mina said.

O laughed.

"It's not just their quirks. You have to factor an attitude and mental strength, which both contribute to overall growth and lead to better performances on the battlefield!" Zu explained.

"You're sure writing a lot. You know, you've grown a tone, too, Deku." O told him as she played with my hair.

I was laying on her lap with my legs on Zu's so he could use them to write.

"I hope so." He replied.

"No where as near as me, though." Mineta said.

"Yeah, I don't see it." Mina and I said at the same time. We fist bumped for that.

"I'm not talking about my height!" He yelled.
