----

It took me a while to fall asleep because the only thing on my mind was Eri.

But when I finally fell asleep, it felt like I didn't sleep at all when I woke up.

I checked my phone and saw that it was still a little early but I had to get up now.

I moved Zuku's arm slowly, so he wouldn't wake up and hopped off the bed.

I slowly walked to the door and opened it. No one was awake yet, so I made a run to the elevator.

I made it to my dorm and decided to get ready.

Once I was done, I went to the common room.

When I walked past the doors, I saw Toki and Bakugo getting on a bus with uncle Mic and All Might.

I quickly opened the door and went to the steps.

"Good luck!" I yelled while waving. And they heard me.

Toki just waved at me and Bakugo just looked at me before walking into the bus.

Progress.

I watched as they got on and the bus left.

I hope they both finally get their licenses. Otherwise, who am I going to go with to my work study?

I walked back inside.

----

Days past like normal and now September is over.

Fall is coming up.

I still struggled to touch people and not flinch when something happens.

But I was getting better.

During this time, dad and All Might took the students that were involved in the raid to Sir Nighteye's funeral.

It didn't feel real. I was holding onto him and the next second, I was saying goodbye.

Our teachers and the hero agencies talked about the work studies program. And they decided to put them on hold.

Endeavor already made that choice for me earlier. But he said I was welcome to come back when they start again.

Eri finally regained consciousness and recovered, but she was still emotionally unstable and her quirk could go out of control at any time, that's why she couldn't have visitors.

Dad's been spending a lot of time over there. And when he's not there or teaching us, he's spending time with me.

It feels like he was trying to make sure I wouldn't get jealous of his time with Eri.

But I didn't mind. I know she still needs help, and dad is the one that can help her best.

Luckily, the doctors discovered that her horn seemed to power her Rewind quirk. As her fever went down, it started to shrink. Right now, it's just like a bump.
