So the initial chapter was going to be longer than it actually was but I was really lazy and couldn't be bothered to write it all so this chapter is sorta a part two, from Amity's perspective. It took me over three weeks to work on the last chapter and I just really wanted to publish it as soon as possible.

I would also like to thank you all for 1.1k reads. That's like so many! I really never thought that this silly dumb little book would get this much attention so thank you to all of my loyal readers who have been with me on this chaotic journey so far.

I would also like to mention that I'm in my summer holidays now so I don't have to put all my attention on school and can focus more on this fanfic. But some chapters might come out slowly due to writers block.

Anyway enough of me blabbering and enjoy.

The halls of the hospital are  overwhelmingly bright, with white  light that dance  across my pale skin. Upon entering the waiting room, familiar eyes gaze upon me. Luz  immediately gets up to hug me. 'Amity!' She says, jumping in to my arms.

'Luz.' I coo with adoration, reciprocating her embrace. I frown still holding her in my arms. 'Are you Okay?' I say it quietly, so I don't even know if she's hers me.

'I don't know.' She says honestly. 'I don't even though if Mamí is okay.'

'Todo estará bien, Luz.' I murmur.

Translation: "It will be okay, Luz."

'I hope so.' She replies.

'Ahem!' Eda Says from behind us. 'What are you doing near my kid, Blight?' There's a venom in her voice that i've never heard before. The owl Lady is known for her criminal record and sassy personality, or living in a hidden house, guarded by a annoying house demon, in which I have heard Luz joke by calling the owl house; "Eda's orphanage." Which made me laugh because it's true.

Eda might act like a hard, tough, unbreakable, sassy witch, but deep down she is a big softy with a huge heart. She took both Luz and King in not because she needed to use them for her own reasons but because she them as lost kids who needed help. It is kinda funny how she went from the most feared criminal in the Ilse to the most beloved hero of the Ilse.

'It's okay, Eda. She can stay. I want her here.' Luz gives her an apologetic smile.

'Woah, how come?'

'Probably because they're dating.' Hunter introjects, sitting on his seat with Waffles perched on his fist, using his other hand to pet her. She chirps in response.

'They're not. They broke up.' Eda states.

Vee sits up. 'Since when?'

'Wait, like at the party? Luz, was that why you were crying after you left the bathroom?' Hunter raises a brow.

'Sorta Yeah.' She replies.

'So what exactly are you doing hugging your ex?' Eda's eyes narrow.

'We've talked things through and we're together again. It was just a bit of miscommunication really.' I explain, before placing a kiss on her head.

'Well, you got back together quickly.' Eda comments.

'Yeah, a few days is enough for us.' Luz chuckles, leaving my arms but still holding my hand.

'Yeah, especially with Amity's separation anxiety.' Hunter snarks.

'Shut up.' I say.

'Alright, it's cool how you are a couple again But we have more important things going on right now. Like the fact that mom is in the hospital.' Vee says.
