Chapter 9

~A month later~

-Seokjin's Pov-

A month had passed since Namjoon agreed to date me, and everything had been perfect. I couldn't get enough of him—he was so deliciously adorable and perfect in every way. Today, I had planned a special outing for us at the amusement park.

Today I was planning on taking him to the amusement park

"Darling? Are you busy today?" I asked while gently wrapping my arms around his small frame as he stood in the kitchen.

"Nope. You already know I barely do anything these days, Seokie" he snickered, turning his head to look at me with a playful glint in his eyes.

"Just making sure, darling" I grinned before leaving small kisses all over his face, reveling in the way he blushed under my affection.

"Where are we going?" he asked curiously, his cheeks still tinged with pink.

"It's a surprise. But I promise you'll love it" I said, pulling back to look into his eyes. The trust and warmth I saw there made my heart swell.

We got ready, and I couldn't help but admire how cute Namjoon looked in his casual outfit. He wore a simple hoodie and jeans, but he made it look effortlessly charming. As we drove to the amusement park, he kept guessing where we were going, each guess more outrageous than the last.

"Are we going to a secret island? A hidden castle?" he asked, his eyes wide with excitement.

"You'll see soon enough" I chuckled, enjoying his enthusiasm.

When we finally arrived, Namjoon's eyes lit up with pure joy. "An amusement park? Really, Seokie? This is amazing!"

"I thought you might like it" I said, feeling a surge of happiness at his reaction.

We spent the day riding roller coasters, playing games, and indulging in all sorts of amusement park treats. Namjoon's laughter was infectious, and I found myself grinning like a fool every time he smiled.

"Seokie, let's go on the Ferris wheel!" he exclaimed, tugging on my hand.

"Anything for you, darling" I replied, letting him lead the way.

As we reached the top of the Ferris wheel, the view of the park and the city beyond was breathtaking. But all I could focus on was Namjoon, his eyes wide with wonder as he took it all in.

"This is perfect, Seokie..." he said softly, leaning his head against my shoulder.

"It is..." I agreed, wrapping an arm around him. "And it's all because of you."

He looked up at me, his eyes searching mine. "Seokie..."

My heart skipped a beat at how adorable he sounds. "Darling, you have no idea how happy you make me. I love you. More than anything."

We shared a tender kiss, the world around us fading away. In that moment, I knew I would do anything to keep him safe and happy.

-Namjoon's Pov-

After we got off the ferris wheel I immediately spotted the games. I looked around to see which one I wanted to go to and I knew exactly which one

"Seokie? Can we go to that shooting game?"

"Of course darling"

I smiled softly as we walked towards the game. I looked around the prizes and I knew I wanted the blue koala.

"Seokie win me that blue koala." I smile innocently. He is a mob boss after all so I'm sure this is an easy win

"My my darling. A little warning that you might want me to be your boyfriend once I show you my skills" he smirked to which I snickered

"Just win it already"

The day at the amusement park had been magical. I couldn't believe how much fun I had with Seokjin. He made everything better, and I felt more connected to him than ever before.

As we drove back to my apartment, I couldn't stop smiling. "Thank you for today, Seokie. It was perfect."

"Anything for you, darling" he said, reaching over to squeeze my hand.

When we got home, I couldn't help but feel a little sad that the day was ending. "Seokie, can you stay over tonight?"

He looked at me, his eyes softening. "Of course, if that's what you want."

"I do" I said, feeling a warmth spread through me. "I feel so safe when you're here."

We spent the evening cuddled up on the couch, watching movies and talking about everything and nothing. As the night wore on, I felt a sense of peace settle over me. Seokjin was my safe place, and I couldn't imagine my life without him.

"Seokie, promise me something" I said, looking up at him.

"Anything, darling" he replied, his eyes filled with love.

"Promise me you'll always be here for me and never hurt me... No matter what" I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

"I promise, Namjoon. I'll always be here for you. No matter what. I could never imagine hurting you...I could never forgive myself if I'm the reason when you cry... except maybe if it's tears of joy" he said, sealing his promise with a kiss.

As I drifted off to sleep in his arms, I knew that everything would be okay as long as we were together. Seokjin was my everything, and I was his. And nothing could ever change that.
