-Seokjin's Pov-

Namjoon's pout deepened, but I could see the wheels turning in his head as he processed what I was saying. "Seokjin, I appreciate that you want to take care of me, but I can't just stay cooped up in here forever. I need to do something with my life. I need to see my friends, go to classes, and have some independence."

"I understand that..." I replied, my heart aching at his words. I debate whether to tell him what is going on but eventually I give in knowing he deserves to know the truth "But right now, it's not safe. Hyunjin...my brother...he's made threats. Serious ones. He wants to take you away from me. I can't let that happen. I-i can't l-let that happen...p-please...d-darling I-i would n-never force y-you t-to do a-anything b-but right n-now i-i n-need y-you t-to be obedient..." Tears started forming in my eyes at this point after many years of not shedding a tear. The thought of losing him will be very painful...I would kill myself if something happened to him.

-Namjoon's Pov-

My eyes widen in shock seeing Seokjin crying...I knew he loved me but I didn't think I was this important... "Seokie? Why would he do that?"

"Because he's always been like this" he said, his voice bitter. "He's always taken what I care about, what I love. And now, he's set his sights on you. I need to keep you safe, Namjoon. Please, just trust me."

I was silent for a moment, clearly torn. Finally, I sighed and nodded. "Okay, Seokie. I'll stay here for now. But only for a little while. We can't let him control our lives forever."

He pulled me into a tight embrace. "Thank you, darling. I promise, I'll make sure this is over soon."

-Seokjin's Pov-

As the days passed, I doubled down on security measures. I had guards stationed around the safe house, surveillance cameras monitoring every inch of the property, and a strict no-visitor policy. Namjoon was understandably frustrated, but he complied with my request, knowing it was for his safety.

One evening, as we were having dinner, my phone buzzed with another message from Hyunjin. My heart sank as I read his words.

"Still hiding him away, I see. It won't be long before I take him, just like I've taken everything else from you."

I clenched my jaw, refusing to let Hyunjin's threats get to me. But I couldn't deny the fear gnawing at my gut. I needed to end this once and for all.

A few nights later, I received a call from one of my informants. He had information about Hyunjin's next move. I left Namjoon sleeping peacefully in our bed and went to meet my informant in the middle of the night.

As I drove through the city, my mind raced with thoughts of how to protect Namjoon. I arrived at the meeting spot, a deserted parking lot, and waited for my contact.

After a few tense minutes, a man approached my car, looking around nervously. He quickly slipped inside and handed me a folder.

"What's this?" I asked, opening the folder to reveal photos and documents.

"It's everything on Hyunjin's plans," he said. "He's been watching you, waiting for the right moment to strike. He's planning to kidnap Namjoon and use him as leverage to take over your business."

My blood ran cold as I flipped through the documents. Hyunjin had been meticulous, tracking Namjoon's movements, our routines, everything.

"Thank you." I said, my voice tight with determination. "I'll take it from here."
