~A week later~

-Namjoon's Pov-

I stared at Seokjin as he cooked in the kitchen. He looked funny but cute in an apron. "Seokie, you're taking way too long..." I whined playfully.

"Since when did you start getting so bratty and needy?" he said with a snicker, turning to face me briefly with an amused look.

"Well, I don't know... maybe since we started dating? It's your fault... you're the one always spoiling me" I retorted, sticking out my tongue at him.

Seokjin laughed, the sound filling the kitchen with warmth. "Guilty as charged" he admitted, turning back to the stove. "But you know what they say: happy boyfriend, happy life."

I giggled, feeling my heart swell with affection. "Is that how it goes? I thought it was 'happy wife, happy life.'"

"Same difference" he shrugged, stirring the pot in front of him. "Now, be patient. Good things come to those who wait."

I pouted, but couldn't help smiling. "Fine, I'll wait. But it better be amazing."

"It will be" he assured me, his eyes twinkling. "It's your favorite, after all."

As I watched him cook, I felt a sense of contentment wash over me. Life had changed so much since I met Seokjin. He was my rock, my constant in a world that often felt overwhelming. His presence made everything better.

Finally, Seokjin plated the food and brought it over to the table. The aroma was mouthwatering, and my stomach growled in anticipation. "Here you go, brat" he teased, setting the plate in front of me.

I beamed up at him. "Thank you, Seokie!" I dug in, savoring the first bite. "Mmm, this is amazing!"

Seokjin sat down across from me, watching me eat with a satisfied smile. "I'm glad you like it. I put a lot of effort into it."

"I can tell" I said between bites. "It's perfect."

We ate in comfortable silence for a while, enjoying the meal and each other's company. After we finished, Seokjin leaned back in his chair, a contented look on his face. "You know, darling, I'm really happy with you."

I felt a warmth spread through my chest. "I'm happy with you too, Seokie. You make everything better."

He reached across the table, taking my hand in his. "I mean it. You've brought so much light into my life. I don't know what I'd do without you."

I squeezed his hand, feeling a lump form in my throat. It's rare that we usually have these types of conversation but it still gets me everytime... "I feel the same way. You've made me feel safe and loved in a way I never thought possible."

Seokjin's gaze softened, and he stood up, pulling me into a gentle hug. "I promise I'll always protect you, my darling. No matter what."

I buried my face in his chest, feeling tears prick at the corners of my eyes. "I believe you, Seokie. I really do."

We stood there for a while, wrapped in each other's arms, savoring the moment. Eventually, Seokjin pulled back slightly, looking down at me with a mischievous grin. "How about we go out today? I feel like spoiling you some more."

I giggled, nodding eagerly. "I'd love that. Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise," he said with a wink. "But I promise it'll be fun."

I trusted him completely, knowing that whatever he had planned would be perfect. "Okay, let's go!"

We spent the day exploring the city, visiting all my favorite spots and discovering new ones. Seokjin bought me little gifts along the way, insisting on treating me to anything that caught my eye. By the end of the day, his arms were full of bags, and my heart was overflowing with happiness.
