~A week after the Incidents~
-Namjoon's Pov-
I giggled softly as Seokjin was looking around for his tie frantically. "Seokie, you're going to be late. Just choose another tie."
"I know, darling, but I really need this one specific tie..." he sighed, rummaging through the drawer.
"Why? You've got a lot of other ties that are similar to the one you're looking for."
Seokjin paused, looking at me with a mix of frustration and affection. "Because this one is special. It was a gift from you, remember? The first one you ever gave me."
My heart melted at his words. "Oh, Seokie... I didn't realize it meant that much to you."
"Of course it does..." he replied, finally finding the tie and holding it up triumphantly. "Everything you give me is special."
I walked over and wrapped my arms around him from behind, resting my chin on his shoulder. "You're too sweet, you know that?"
Seokjin smiled, turning his head to kiss my cheek. "Only for you, darling."
After helping him put on the tie, I stepped back to admire my work. "There, all set. Now go before you're late."
Seokjin chuckled and kissed me softly. "Thank you, darling. I'll see you tonight."
As he left for work, I couldn't help but feel a warm glow of happiness. Despite everything that had happened, we were finally settling into a sense of normalcy. Seokjin was still cautious and overprotective, but I understood why. And I loved him all the more for it.
-Seokjin's POV-
I arrived at my office, still feeling the warmth of Namjoon's embrace. The past week had been a whirlwind of emotions, but seeing Namjoon's smile every day made it all worth it.
As I settled into my chair, my phone buzzed with a message. I frowned, recognizing the number immediately. It was Hyunjin.
"You can never stop me. I'll always escape Seokjin and I'll take Namjoon with me."
My heart sank. Hyunjin's threats were never empty, and I knew I had to confront him. I couldn't let him get anywhere near Namjoon. I gripped my phone tighter as I replied "What do you want, Hyunjin?"
"I want what's mine and right now, that's Namjoon."
"You stay away from him. He has nothing to do with this. How many times do I have to tell you??"
"Oh, but he has everything to do with this. How many times do I have to tell you aswell? You see, Seokjin, I've always taken what you love most. And Namjoon... well, he's just too precious to resist."
My blood boiled. "You won't touch him. I won't let you."
"You really think you can stop me? I've always been one step ahead of you, Seokjin. Always."
"Not this time. I'll do whatever it takes to protect him. Namjoon is the only source of my happiness and I will never let you take that away from me ever again. Got that?"
"That's the spirit. But remember, Seokjin, I know all your weaknesses. I know exactly how to hurt you."
I clenched my fists, trying to keep my composure. "Why are you doing this, Hyunjin? What do you gain from hurting me?"
"It's simple. I enjoy seeing you suffer."
"You won't win. I won't let you. You may know all my weaknesses but I know yours too hyunjin. You're not the only one who has been observing all these years. I know all your moves this time."
"We'll see...Consider this a warning, brother. Keep an eye on Namjoon. Because one day, when you least expect it, I'll be there."
-Namjoon's POV-
I sighed, just laying on my bed as I waited for Seokjin. He told me he had important business to attend to, but I couldn't help but worry. Something about the way he had acted before leaving didn't sit right with me.
Suddenly, my phone buzzed with a message. I picked it up, hoping it was Seokjin, but my heart sank when I saw it was from an unknown number.
Namjoon, stay away from Seokjin. He's dangerous. - H
I stared at the message, feeling a knot form in my stomach. Who was this H? And why were they trying to warn me about Seokjin? I knew I should tell Seokjin about it, but part of me didn't want to worry him.
When Seokjin finally returned, he looked exhausted but relieved to see me. "Hey, darling..." he said, wrapping his arms around me. "Did you miss me?"
"Of course" I replied, hugging him tightly. "Everything okay?"
"Just business..." he said, kissing the top of my head. "Nothing for you to worry about my little darling"
I hesitated for a moment before deciding to show him the message. "Seokie, I got this text while you were gone. Do you know who it's from?"
Seokjin's eyes darkened as he read the message. "It's from Hyunjin..." he said quietly. "He's trying to scare you."
"But why? What does he want?"
"He wants to take you away from me," Seokjin said, his voice trembling with anger. "He's always taken what I love most. But I won't let him this time. I promise, darling. I will protect you."
I nodded, trusting him completely. "I believe you, Seokie. I just... I don't want to lose you."
"You won't." he said firmly. "I'll always protect you..."
I snuggled into his arms feeling uneasy but I trust Seokjin. I always do. He is the one person whom I truly trust with my life and I know he won't break it "More kisses please seokie..."
He chuckled and pecked my lips "There darling"
"I said kiss not pecks."
"It's the same though...no?"
"Of course not!" I huffed "Kisses are usually long and use tongue. Pecks are fast and I don't usually like it."
"Sorry darling..." He mumbles before pulling me closer and kisses me softly to which I immediately calmed down
I soon pulled away to catch my breath as I looked up at him with a smile
"Don't look at me like that darling."
"Why not? Don't I look cute, Seokie?" I pout playfully as he wrap my arms around his neck
"You always do darling. Beautiful, gorgeous, adorable and the list just goes on..."
