Miraculous with a Side of Kai

Chapter 1

The last time Kai reminded himself never to act first without thinking....and yet he still did it and here he was, on the ground while holding onto a girl the same age as him while he could only groan.

A few hours ago:

It's been about 6 months for Kai,6 months of living in Paris in one of the decent apartments he could afford with the little money he had in his pockets...and by money... let's say he was lucky enough to have any in the many pockets from his little expedition.

With a sigh that was released from his mouth, he stared at the sight before him while caressing the amulet that was around his neck.

"Six months and I still don't know anything about this thing,well at least I learned French... that's something I didn't think would be on my bucket list"

He said as the sound of police sirens could be heard which got him to see a car chase just above below him.

During these months, he's seen either car chases or a few robberies that took place in different areas, he simply didn't think it was his business to be involved since he's got too much on his plate as it was.

With a frustrated grunt, he grabbed his keys from the small table that was close to the sliding door to enter the balcony and head out while wearing a red short sleeved t shirt with black sweatpants and black and white converse shoes.

It took him a few minutes or more just to wander around the area, the people were simply going on their merrily way just enjoying the sun that was in the sky.

He would've enjoyed more of the sun warming him up but that wasn't the case as he heard more sirens that wasn't far from him.

He lets out another sigh as another speed chase was happening as the amulet was slightly moving which alerted Kai at its action since he never noticed but he simply shook that off for a bit as he continued on walking.

It took him just a few hours with a bag of treats while sitting down on one of the many benches on the park as he saw the warm scenery before him.

"This is nice" he said as he took a bite of one of the treats as he sighed in content.

Another sound of siren caused him to groan as the pleasure that came from the taste of the treat disappeared.

He simply looked over and his eyes widened as this particular car chase cussed the many individuals to run away from the lunatic who was driving through the park.

Kai's mind was completely blank as his body suddenly moved on its own as he ran with speed as he grabbed the person that was close to getting run over by the vehicle, with a grunt as he held onto the person as he hit the ground.

He groaned as he opened his eyes to look into the eyes of a girl that was close to being his age with bluebell eyes that would calm down even the mighty of storms, he was silent until his eyes wander over the car chase that was still happening...and if made him glare.

His attention came back to the girl as he helped her up.

"Are you ok?" He asked her which she nodded her head but before she could say anything else, Kai dashed away but not before saying he'll be right back.

Kai didn't know why he said that to the girl and didn't know why he was running towards the car chase that was completely the police's part problem...but the fact that the amulet was shaking even more lively that it caused him to hold the amulet in his hand and the result of that action caused the chain to break as the amulet glowed.
