Vianna POV:
As I woke up early in the morning, I could hear the sound of guests arriving outside, signaling the start of my brother's marriage celebrations. I felt a mix of emotions - excitement for my brother's new beginning and a hint of sadness, knowing that I had to put aside my own feelings for Aansh. My brother had come to my room the previous night and asked me to promise him that I wouldn't cry for Aansh's love, and I had agreed, knowing that my family's happiness was my top priority.
After getting ready quickly, I headed downstairs to help with the preparations. The morning was a blur of activity, with the bride's family arriving at our home, bringing with them an array of colorful clothes, jewelry, and gifts. I helped with the arrangements, ensuring everything was perfect for the Sangeet ceremony that evening.
As the day wore on, I realized it was already 4 pm, and we needed to leave for the venue by 7 pm. I hastily packed everything and set off alone to reach the area where the function was being held. After completing the basic requirements, I waited for my family to arrive.
When they did, I got ready to wear a stunning yellow and pink ghaghra choli, adorned with intricate heavy work. I styled my hair in plates and wore heavy jewelry, feeling every bit the sister of the groom. After helping my brother get ready, I made my way outside, where everyone was gathered.
That's when I saw Aansh, Reha, and Abhay arriving, and for a moment, my heart ached. But I couldn't react in front of everyone, so I just gave them a bright smile and asked them to enjoy the function. I then busied myself with meeting other guests and ensuring everything was in place for the Sangeet ceremony. The Sangeet function was a vibrant and joyful celebration, filled with music, dance, and performances by family and friends. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone dressed in their finest traditional Indian attire. The decorations were elaborate, with bright colors, lights, and thematic elements based on the couple's preferences.
As the function progressed, it was time for my brother's performance, which was a surprise for his wife. I joined him on stage, inviting our family members to dance, and we performed a welcome song for the bride. I could see tears in her eyes as my mom brought her on stage, and we all left the stage, leaving the couple alone. The lights went off, and rose petals started falling on them as they danced.
After the Sangeet function concluded, we all headed for dinner. I stayed back to change my clothes and then joined the others, keeping all the gifts in the car to avoid misplacing them. During dinner, I saw Ridham, Abhay, Reha, and Aansh, and Reha mentioned that she wanted to talk to me about something. However, Aansh suggested that we could talk after my brother's wedding functions were over, and Ridham and Abhay downplayed it, saying it was just about their work. I smiled and had my dinner with them, and after greeting everyone, we left, knowing that the haldi and mehndi functions were scheduled for the next day.
