Vianna pov:

As I sat in my friend's wedding venue, getting ready for the Sangeet Function, my phone rang, shrill in my ear. Abhay's voice on the other end delivered news that made my heart skip a beat - Aansh's grandfather had passed away. I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, my breath caught in my throat. I knew how close Aansh was to his grandfather, and the thought of his pain was almost too much to bear. I tried to call him, but he didn't answer, so I sent a message and rushed off to the function, my mind reeling.

Later that night, after the function, Aansh called me, his face etched with grief on the FaceTime screen. We talked for a long time, and I tried to console him, but I could see the hurt still lingering in his eyes. He asked me to stay on the call, and I agreed, eventually drifting off to sleep with the phone still connected.

The next few weeks were a blur of work and travel, with a month-long stint in Delhi away from my family. I was exhausted and homesick, and the stress was taking a toll on my health. One day, I called Aansh, and we talked for hours, just like old times. He was flirting with me again, and I couldn't help but blush when he mentioned how beautiful our life together would be, especially the nights. I started daydreaming about us, imagining how perfect we'd be as a couple.

But then, reality hit me like a ton of bricks. I received a parcel with my favourite food and a sweet note from Ridham, reminding me that I wasn't alone. We talked for hours, and I ended up sleeping again, feeling a mix of emotions.

Today, on this lazy Sunday, I decided to go shopping with friends and clear my head. As we strolled through the garden, I called Aansh, nostalgic for the good times. But Reha answered, lying on his bed, wearing a revealing black sleeveless top, and I felt a surge of anger. Aansh took the call, downplaying the situation, but I could see the guilt written all over his face. When I saw the bite mark on his neck, I lost it, tears streaming down my face.

Reha took the phone again, inviting me to her wedding, and I felt a pang of confusion. Why did she want me there now, after all the animosity between us? Aansh reassured me that he'd call me later, but I was a mess, crying uncontrollably until my friend from Mumbai intervened, reminding me that I had no right to be possessive. I took a deep breath, composed myself, and went out for dinner, my mind reeling with thoughts.

Tonight, I called Ridham, pouring out my heart to him, and he revealed that he'd been hiding something since my brother's wedding. I was shocked, and tears pricked at the corners of my eyes again. He promised to help me sort out my life and come home soon, and I clung to that promise like a lifeline.

Ridham's Pov:

It's been a month since I've been harbouring a secret from Vianna, a secret that could potentially shatter her world. Reha and Aansh's marriage was a bombshell that left me reeling, and I've been struggling to come to terms with it. The fact that they hid it from Vianna, someone I care deeply about, made my blood boil. I wanted to confront Aansh, to demand answers for his deceit.

But life got in the way, and our conversations became relegated to professional talks during the day and brief calls on weekends. I couldn't bring myself to confess my feelings to her, not when she was still oblivious to the truth. Seeing her happy and unaware of the betrayal was a constant ache in my heart.

Then, the day of Vianna's brother's marriage arrived, and I stumbled upon a scene that made my blood run cold. Reha and Aansh were kissing in Vianna's room, a betrayal that left me seething. I wanted to confront them, to protect Vianna from the pain they would inevitably cause. But Abhay's words stayed in my hand, telling me that Aansh had promised to talk to her, to make things right.

I couldn't shake off the feeling that I needed to be the one to tell her, to prepare her for the heartbreak that was coming. But before I could muster the courage, Vianna had to leave for our Delhi office for a month. We kept in touch through Face Chat, and I was relieved to see her excitement about exploring the city.

But then, disaster struck. I received a text from a colleague, telling me that Vianna had broken down after talking to Aansh. I knew I had to act fast, to be there for her before she spiralled into despair. I called her, and the sound of her tears shattered my heart. I promised to be there for her, to protect her from the pain, and I knew I had to keep that promise.

I booked a midnight flight to Delhi, my mind racing with thoughts of Vianna's tears and Aansh's betrayal. I arrived early in the morning, determined to be her rock, her haven. I brought her favourite breakfast and cold coffee, hoping to bring a smile to her face.

When she opened the door, her eyes widened in shock, and she looked adorable in her blue shorts and white top. She yawned, still sleepy, and then her eyes locked onto mine. She was shocked, but then her face crumpled, and she hugged me tightly, or rather, jumped into my arms. I wanted to hold her forever, to keep her safe from the world.

But for now, I had to control my feelings and had to be strong for her. I held her close, closed the door behind me, and let her cry. After we had breakfast, I suggested we go to a nearby adventure park, hoping the fresh air would do her good. As we walked, I knew I had to be patient, to let her heal at her own pace. I was determined to be there for her, no matter what lay ahead.

Author Pov:

Vianna and Ridham's day at the amusement park was a kaleidoscope of colours, sounds, and sensations. As they stepped through the gates, the sweet scent of funnel cakes and the thrill of screams from the roller coasters enveloped them, setting the tone for an unforgettable adventure. Their eyes sparkled with excitement as they gazed at the sprawling landscape of twists, turns, and towering attractions.

With each ride, their laughter grew louder, mingling with the cacophony of sounds from the park. They sprinted from one thrill to the next, their feet barely touching the ground. The roller coasters were their first conquest, with steep drops and heart-stopping loops that left them breathless and grinning from ear to ear. Vianna's long hair streamed behind her like a golden ribbon as they whizzed through the tracks, her screams of delight intertwining with Ridham's joyful whoops.

Next, they wandered into the whimsical realm of the carousel, where vibrant horses and swings beckoned. Vianna settled onto a majestic white steed, its glassy eye glinting in the sunlight, while Ridham chose a regal black stallion. As the music swelled and the carousel rotated, they rose and fell in gentle rhythm, their faces aglow with happiness.

Throughout the day, the sun shone brightly overhead, casting a warm glow over their escapades. They strolled hand in hand, taking in the sights and sounds, their bond growing stronger with each shared experience. The air was electric with the thrill of discovery, their connection crackling like the sparks from the park's fireworks display.

As the day drew to a close, Vianna and Ridham settled onto a bench, exhausted but exhilarated, their faces flushed with joy. They gazed out at the park, now bathed in the soft golden light of sunset, and smiled at each other, the memories of their unforgettable adventure forever etched in their hearts.
After returning home Vianna had the best smile on her face leaving every worry.
