Vianna POV:
"It's been two weeks since my brother's wedding, and what a whirlwind of emotions it's been! We finally gathered together as a family, enjoying each other's company and opening the thoughtful gifts my brother and his wife brought back from their honeymoon. I was thrilled to receive beautiful summer dresses from them, and I couldn't help but feel stunning in each outfit they chose for me.
As we sat down for dinner, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and sadness. We were all heading to our native place the next day, but I was dreading being the middle wheel between my brother and his wife. I had always been close to my brother, and the thought of sharing that bond with someone else was difficult for me to accept.
My parents had left a week ago to attend another wedding, so I was stuck with my work and decided to join my brother and his wife a day before the pooja ceremony. As I packed my bags, I couldn't help but scroll through my phone and notice a strange post from Aansh, an acquaintance of mine. He had posted a selfie with numbers and a panda emoji, which seemed out of character for him. I texted him, curious, and he replied that he was counting down the days until we met, just like I had promised. I blushed, despite my intuition telling me it wasn't true.
As I lay in bed that night, my brother and his wife came into my room, and we chatted for a bit before they headed off to sleep. I drifted off myself, only to wake up at 4 am to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ears. We had an early train to catch, and I was determined to get ready on time.
The train ride was a blur, but I remember arriving at our native place and being greeted by relatives and a car to take us to our destination. We spent the day visiting nearby relatives and introducing my brother's wife to the family. As night fell, I settled in to work on my laptop, trying to catch up on some tasks I had neglected during the day.
My brother joined me on the terrace, and together we worked through the night, fueled by cups of coffee and conversation. It was a special moment, just the two of us, and I felt grateful for his presence in my life. When we finally finished, I hugged him tightly, feeling a sense of relief washed over me.
As I drifted off to sleep that night, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. My brother was there for me, always, and I knew that no matter what life threw my way, he would be there to comfort me. The next morning, I woke up to find him still by my side, hugging me like a baby, and I couldn't help but smile. We took a photo together, and I knew that this moment would stay with me forever.
The pooja ceremony was a beautiful blur, and before I knew it, it was time for me to say goodbye to everyone and head to Bangalore for my friend's wedding. I left with a heavy heart, but also with a sense of gratitude for the love and support of my family."
Aansh Pov:
It's been two weeks since that unforgettable kiss with Reha, and our lives have transformed in ways I never imagined. We've been inseparable, sharing every moment, and our bond has deepened. But, despite this newfound connection, my heart still aches for Vianna, my first love. I've tried to move on, but the memories linger.
My aunt's wise words encouraged me to embrace this new chapter with Reha, and I've been making a genuine effort to nurture our relationship. We've become each other's constant companion, working, eating, and exploring together. Yet, the thought of Vianna never fades. I miss her terribly, and the guilt of potentially hurting her weighs heavy on my conscience.
As the days pass, Reha and I grow closer, but my mind often wanders to Vianna. I've been taking selfies, intending to share them with Vianna, but hesitating, unsure if it's fair to Reha. Meanwhile, Reha uses my phone to post updates, counting down the days until...until what, I'm not sure. Perhaps until our wedding, which is fast approaching, though my heart isn't fully in it.
Vianna's message caught me off guard, asking why I'd stopped sharing updates. I hesitated, unsure how much to reveal, and settled for a half-truth. The guilt is eating away at me, and I know I must confess my feelings to Reha before proceeding.
But fate has other plans. My cousin bursts in, frantic, with news of my grandfather's deteriorating health. We rush to the hospital, and the doctor's somber expression prepares us for the worst. The hospital helper's urgent interruption delivers the devastating news: my grandfather is gone.
We're in shock, numb, and heartbroken. After the hospital formalities, we return home, awaiting the arrival of my aunt, who will help us navigate this difficult time. I share the sorrowful news with everyone, and we're enveloped in a collective grief.
In this moment, my heart aches for the loss of my grandfather, and the complexity of my emotions towards Vianna and Reha feels overwhelming. I'm torn between the past, present, and future, unsure which path to take.
Author Pov:
Aansh and Reha had finally decided to take the next step in their relationship, and their excitement was palpable as they began making plans for their future together. They had set a date for their marriage and were busy preparing for the grand celebration. However, their joy was short-lived, as tragedy struck in the form of Aansh's beloved grandfather's sudden passing. The news hit Aansh hard, and he was consumed by grief. The couple's happiness was replaced with sorrow, and their wedding plans were put on hold indefinitely.
In the midst of this challenging time, Abhay, Aansh's close friend, stepped forward to offer support. He knew how important it was to be there for his friend during this difficult period. Abhay took it upon himself to inform Vianna, a mutual friend, about the heartbreaking news. He understood that Vianna cared deeply for Aansh and would want to know about his loss. Abhay's thoughtful gesture ensured that Vianna was aware of the situation and could extend her condolences to Aansh and his family.
As the news spread, friends and family rallied around Aansh, offering their support and comfort. Reha, too, was a pillar of strength for Aansh, standing by him through the darkest moments. Together, they navigated the complexities of grief, their bond growing stronger with each passing day. Abhay's selfless act had sparked a chain reaction of kindness, showcasing the power of friendships that endure even in the face of adversity.
In the days that followed, Aansh, Reha, and their loved ones came together to celebrate the life of Aansh's grandfather. They shared stories, memories, and tears, finding solace in each other's company. As they grieved, they also found strength in their collective support, a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. And though their journey ahead would be fraught with challenges, Aansh and Reha knew that their love, fortified by the support of their friends and family, would carry them through even the darkest of times.
