The darkness surrounds me, a shroud that's real
A heart that's broken, a soul that can't feel
The silence is deafening, the emptiness a weight
A soul once free, now but a prisoner of fate
I've written these words, to express my pain
A legacy of sorrow, a life in vain
The tears I've cried, the heartaches I've known
A grief so deep, it's become my own
Farewell, dear reader, may my words stay with you
A haunting whisper, a sorrowful hue
For in these pages, a piece of me remains
A shattered heart, a soul's eternal pains.
