"Thank you," Aahana uttered to the cab driver and then stepped out of the cab as she reached her destination. Tilting her head, she looked at that huge building in front of her. SINGHANIYA... corporations. This was one of the most successful companies almost in their entire country and not only here, it had multinational branches too in multiple foreign countries and they all were successful.
Her father had been working here for almost two years now and she was aware of the fact that since her father had started working here, their financial state had strengthened too. No, she didn't mean that before her father started working here, their family used to live under a rock but what she meant was after her father got employed in this corporation, the financial status of their family had decently built up more.
Clutching the string of her college bag which was placed on her shoulder, she ran towards that building as she had come here a couple of times before too and had even met the owner of this company, Mr Raghav Singhaniya too who was a very polite and generous person. She was grateful that her father had such a good boss who knew how to respect his employees.
Aahana reached that building's entrance where she saw a couple of guards standing there. She knew they wouldn't let her enter without proper identity verification, so she decided to call her father, like he had told her mother to tell her to do.
Taking out her phone from her bag, she called her father's number but he didn't pick it up. After a couple more tries, when her father didn't pick up the call, Aahana decided to go inside that place on her own as now she was getting late for her own college.
She walked towards the entrance where she got stopped by the guards. Aahana swallowed.
"Your company's identity card or appointment letter?" The guard asked to which she shook her head.
"I have neither of them because I came here to hand a very important document to my father, Mr Abhinav Malhotra. He works here," Aahana said to him.
"Call your father here then,"
"He is not picking up his call. I tried multiple times," she explained.
"Then you cannot go inside the premises. It's against the rules, so kindly leave," the guards said to her. Her face turned gloomy.
"It's a really very important file. If I can't go inside then at least you can go there and give it to him please," she requested to which the guards exchanged a glance with each other. Seeing that innocence in her eyes and in her demeanour, they couldn't defy her as she was looking like a mere teenager with no ill intentions, so they agreed.
"Stay here. I will call your father outside," one among the guards uttered, lightening up her face. She immediately nodded at him, beaming and then saw him going inside to call her father.
Aahana's phone rang which made her look towards it. It was from Navya, so she walked a little aside from the main entrance to pick up her call.
Meanwhile that luxuriously lavish black car halted in front of that huge building which alerted all the guards standing at the main entrance because they knew to whom that car belonged, which was the owner of this place himself.... Zayansh Singhaniya.
The door of that car opened and the guards watched that person stepping out of the car with his sinewy burly body which was draped in a mate black tuxedo. His piercing emerald eyes took a glance at the building in front of him before he covered his eyes with his dark shades. His manager, Sameer, came rushing towards him and bowed in front of him.
Covering his eyes, he shoved his hands inside his pants pocket and started striding towards the main entrance with his long steps. His manager followed him. The guards immediately bowed in front of him.
"Good morning, Mr Singhaniya" they all greeted him but his concealed gaze clearly noticed that one among those guards were missing from here and it didn't please him at all. He wanted full discipline and obedience at his workplace. There was no place for negligence or mistake here.
Turning his head, he looked at one of those guards.
"Why one among you are not here?" his husky voice questioned which made that guard gulp.
"Sir, he has gone inside to call an employee whose daughter has come here to give him some kind of important file," the guard explained, looking down. His jaw clenched at the explanation.
"And you all are getting paid to do this work here?" He spat, tensing up the guards more.
"We apologise, sir but that girl said...."
"Hey! I am back. Did my papa come....?" that familiar voice filled into his ear which made him turn around but his palms clenched the second he saw the owner of that voice. That fucking girl.
On the other hand, Aahana's eyes widened in shock, seeing him in front of her once again. That brutal animal. What was he doing here? Did he work here too? Aahana didn't hear the guards taking his name or their conversation and she had never seen him here before too, so she didn't know why he was here but for whatever reason he was here, she would break his jaw if he would try to show her his authority here.
With a scowl on her face, she walked closer to him and stood in front of him.
"What are you doing here?" she asked him that question which he should have asked her. The guards' turned startled whereas his jaw clenched, hearing her audacious question. This fucking teenager really had a death wish.
"Don't let him get inside. He is a rude ass jerk," she told the guards, enlarging their eyes even more but his knuckles turned pale the way he was fisting his palms after the way she was insulting him in front of his own company's guards. His manager, Sameer, tried to stop her but he halted his manager by signalling with his hand. He wanted to know how far her braveness could go and how he could use it to destroy her awfully without even staining his own hands or mouth to teach her a lesson.
"He doesn't even know how to talk and has zero basic manners, so tell Mr Raghav Singhaniya to fire him if he works here because...." She turned her head to look at him again.
"He doesn't even know how to respect others, so a person like him doesn't deserve to work here in a prestigious place like this," she concluded, glaring at him.
For a brief moment, every single thing went silent as she continued to glare at him until she witnessed him removing his shades from his eyes and those forest green eyes of his came in contact with her. Aahana saw a sinister viciousness appearing in his eyes.
"Call the police right now, Sameer and press the legal charges against her of verbal assault, harassment and stalking," he uttered, peering into her light brown hues which widened at his words. Legal charges?
Aahana saw him stepping closer to her before he stood right in front of her. She witnessed him lowering his head to reach her face level. A menacing smirk was ghosting on his face as he gazed at her.
"And make sure, she doesn't get a bail for at least a couple of years for harassing Zayansh Singhaniya at his own workplace," he breathed out against her face, freezing her heart completely. He was Zayansh Singhaniya? The son of Raghav Singhaniya and now the current owner of Singhaniya corporations? What kind of dreadful mess she had gotten herself into now?
.........................
Our Aahana's mouth is bigger that her size while our Zayansh hates disobedience and negligence, so what do you think will happen now? And how he is going to punish her for insulting him?
