Aahana's body froze entirely when her glossy hues met with those piercing green eyes of his which were already peering at her. Once again, she was finding herself in front of him and this time, it got clear for her that every time she tried to get away from him, her fate shoved her more closer to him, just like right now. She tried to run away from his presence but her fate pushed her in his embrace.
His lethal emerald eyes watched those tears rolling down from her shimmering brown orbs. He was terrible at understanding people's emotions. He was a kind of person who didn't give a fuck about other's opinion and feelings but right now, even in his slight intoxication, he could clearly understand that fear, worry and pain laced in her tears and he himself didn't know how? How could he start comprehending this teenager's emotions just in her tears and silence?
“I am sorry, Mr Singhaniya,” the guard apologised, seeing the owner of the hotel. He immediately bowed at him while terribly tensing up, witnessing that girl in the owner's arms.
“I will take her away,” the guard said and stepped closer to them to snatch Aahana away from his arms which made Aahana clutch his shirt tightly. Her body tensed up more which didn't go unnoticed by him.
That guard extended his palm towards Aahana but before he could touch her, he grabbed that guard's neck aggressively and kept him away from her which widened Aahana's eyes in shock.
His nefarious eyes trailed from her face to down towards her arms where he saw those light red fingers’ marks on her untainted skin which made him clench his jaw. His grip tightened around that guard's neck, seeing those fingers’ marks on her arm as he knew it was that guard who had touched her so brutally and it didn't please him at all.
He snapped his eyes at that guard who was now looking at him with horror written all over his face as that guard knew how brutal and malicious this person was in front of him.
“Why the fuck did you touch her?” he glowered at that guard, widening Aahana's glossy eyes. Terror washed over her. She had never witnessed herself so close to such a violent person. She hated violence but right now, she was finding herself caged in the arms of destruction.
“Sir, this girl had burglarized inside the club, so I…I was taking her to the manager,” the guard uttered, stuttering in horror. He turned his head towards her to know her side of the story as by now he had understood one thing clearly that she was not a kind of person who would enter any place with any ill intentions, especially inside a club.
He looked at her and found her shaking her head in denial. Her tears turned more vigorous, telling him her truth which that guard didn't believe. He gritted his teeth before snapping his head towards that guard again.
“Then what the fuck you were doing when she was trying to enter there?” He seethed out at the guard who got quiet completely at his question as the guards were not present at the door when she entered the club.
The guard’s silence enraged him more. He despised when someone didn't answer his question. He gripped his neck more violently which brimmed tears in the eyes of that guard. He tried to save himself from his vicious hold but he didn't show any sympathy to him until..
‘Jane dijiye inhe….. please,’
“Let him go, please,” her tender voice made him look at her and he found her teary eyes requesting him to let that guard go. The rage in his eyes somehow softened at her pleading and then he pushed that guard away. For the very first time, he accepted someone's pleadings with no second thoughts or else…..the kind of cruller he was, he wouldn't even believe showing mercy to his own shadow for going against him.
