Sitting on her bed, inside her room....Aahana was peering at the dark evening sky where the clouds were still roaring and were falling those drops of water, just like her eyes which were continuously falling those tears of pain. That pain which she was feeling and was killing her since the moment she heard about her divorce today in the hospital. It was so unendurable that Aahana felt like it was tightly squeezing something inside her chest mercilessly. He really wanted to divorce after everything that had happened between them? Did those moments really don't matter to him? Did she really mean nothing to him except for a toy or was he punishing her for those brutal things which she said to him during her outburst?

Yes, she did remember her words and how cruel they were. She practically uttered to him that he deserved to be alone and that was one of the most brutal things a person could say to someone and she did say it to him but she didn't mean it. She didn't mean it any way. She was just angry at him at that moment but he didn't even give her the time to explain herself to him. She really didn't mean anything to him and if it was like this then she would definitely leave him just the way he wanted but would she be able to live her life after leaving him when it was already hurting her so much just by thinking about it?

She knew it might sound irrational that it was just a day she had been married to him but within just that one day, she had already lost a lot to him and the most important thing which she might have already lost to him included her heart too.

"Hana..." hearing her mother's voice, she wiped her eyes and turned her head around and saw her mother entering her room. Her mother sat beside her and then looked into her child's eyes where she clearly caught those tears which she was trying to hide from her and this ached her mother's heart.

"Hana, did he hurt you?" her mother asked her which made Aahana sigh heavily. Yes, he had hurt her. He had hurt her a lot but not in that way she could describe it to anyone and definitely not in the way her parents were thinking, so Aahana just slowly shook her head in denial.

"He never hurt me physically," she told her mother what her mother wanted to know from her. Her mother sighed at her answer and noticed the pain and dullness in her child's eyes which told her what she was feeling from inside but didn't know how to say it to anyone.

"Aahana..." her mother tried to ask her something but stopped, seeing Aahana's father knocking on the door.

"Mr Sameer is here," her father uttered to both his daughter and her mother which clenched Aahana's heart because she knew why Sameer was here. Aahana got up on her feet and then walked out of her room where her parents followed her.

"Good evening, mam," Sameer bowed in front of Aahana as she was still his boss's wife. Aahana saw him extending some kind of papers towards her.

"Mr Singhaniya has sent the divorce papers and he wants you to sign them as soon as possible," Sameer's words shattered her heart in the worst possible way. Aahana looked towards those papers in Sameer's hand and it hurt her so much that she could not even manage to take it from Sameer's hand which didn't go unnoticed by her parents, especially her mother who was keenly absorbing her daughter.

"Sir has already signed these papers and if you want to add some additional clause in these papers then you can tell me about them, I will notify sir about them," Aahana's eyes immediately watered, hearing Sameer. He had already signed these divorce papers? Was he so eager to get rid of her and their marriage?

Sameer waited for Aahana to take those papers but she didn't and this made her father step forward. He took those papers from Sameer and spoke out.

"After reading them, she will sign them and I will inform you,"
