Her heart was pounding inside her chest in terror. She was sitting in the middle of a large-sized bed which was decorated with tenderly beautiful and countless petals of red roses. The veil of the wedding dress she was wearing was covering her face. No, she was not supposed to be here. It was not her place because this place belonged to someone else. She had been forced to be here.

She was about to remove her veil to run away from there but stopped when she heard the noise of the doorknob getting twisted. He was here. Her nightmare was here.

Tears stung her eyes as she lowered her head and heard that person stepping inside the door. Her nostrils got filled with his familiar beguiling cologne and she immediately understood. It was him.

She pulled her knees closer to her chest and gripped them tightly when she heard him locking the door. It accelerated her heartbeat even more in fear but her blood ran cold when she heard his heavy footsteps making their way towards her and then the bed before her shifted as he sat in front of her.

She dug her nails against her knees when she felt him gripping the edge of her veil and then he slowly took it upward to uncover her face which made her squeeze her eyes tightly.

Her whole body was shivering terribly which didn't go unnoticed by him, so he tenderly gripped her chin and took her head upward which made her quiver more awfully until she felt him pushing his face closer to her ear.

‘Ab itni bhi kya narazgi jo yeh nigahe hame dekhna bhi nahi chahti…..’

“Have I upset you so much that your eyes don't even want to look at me now….?” she heard him whispering in her ear in his throaty voice.

“Tonight is our very first wedding night, so let's not ruin a single second of it, Mrs Aahana Zayansh Singhaniya,” he husked in her ear once again but this time, hearing him calling her with that name, she slowly opened her eyes and tilted her head to look at him.

Her glossy brown hues met with his nefarious emerald ones which brimmed more tears in her eyes. This monster could never be her husband. She could never accept him as her husband, no matter what.

He saw a tear rolling down from her eyes as she peered at him which filled a devious satisfaction in his eyes because that was what he wanted. Her pain…..over and over again till she wouldn't lose herself completely to her pain. That much pain he wanted to inflict in her body, in her heart, in her very soul for the sin she had committed because she was his sinner.

He witnessed that terror engulfing her eyes of what he was going to do with her tonight which brought an iniquitous smirk on his face. To add more in her agony, he pushed his face closer to hers but she pressed her palms against his hardened chest to stop him and tilted her head.

‘Maat chhuiye hame….’

“Don't touch me,” she breathed out in her trembling voice which caused a hoarse chuckle to escape from his mouth. He grabbed her both hands and clutched them in his one palm, bringing more tears in her eyes.

“If I wouldn't touch you then who else would, mi esposa?” He rasped against her tear stained cheek. (My wife)

“I hope you remember that you are not even allowed to think about any other man now,” he reminded her, filling her heart with more terror.

‘Gunaah hai yeh apke liye kisi gair mard ke bare mein sochna bhi….siwaye humare…’

“It's a sin for you to even think about any other man who is not me,” more tears rolled down from her eyes when he uttered those words to her.

“Now let's not waste any further time of this night anymore,” he stated but her body froze when she felt him removing her veil from her head completely and pulling her dupatta out of her body.
