2 DAYS LEFT BEFORE THE EVENT! LOTS OF PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER PARIS, what kind of person doesn't get so excited about it? "YOU'RE WHAT?!" The empty classroom echoed her agitated voice, the atmosphere around them darkening in a solemnly way.

Matteo stared at the floor apologetically in shame, his mask covering his smile that he looks like he's really upset about the idea of not attending this once in a lifetime event. "I'm sorry, Marinette. You too Alya." He mentioned the brunette, nodding understandingly as she wipes her tears.

He approached Marinette, hugging her figure that seems to be vulnerable. "Why didn't you told us sooner that you're sick..?" Finally, she gave in, wrapping her arms around him, tight. Removing his mask, he placed his hands on both of her cheeks and kissed her forehead—like a brother soothing his youngest.

"I, I planned to before I got here Mari. But the thought of you worrying about me, and doing anything for my health, that scares me. What if you got hurt because of it?"

"I don't care if it hurts me! I just want you safe, and help you in anything to cure you." Her stinging gaze searched for him, yet he can't even hold an eye contact for a minute. Alya was beside her, her crying replaced with small sniffles. Oh, how heartbroken these girls are for their best friend.

Did her Mom and Dad knew about this? What signs that got her attention? Nothing! This boy, knowing how good he was about hiding and lying everything—as if getting controlled by his past. Marinette conclusioned that it has to do something about it, why won't he tell her? Does he not trust her that much?

The boy wiped her tears away. "To make you feel better, I've been healing for these past few days. Tikki helped me." Matteo doesn't need to worry by talking about the kwami, Alya had connected the dots the day before he tells her. Tikki told him that Alya was Rena Rouge, the one who's holding the fox miraculous.

Instead, the brunette called out Trixx to atleast have a conversation with his kwami, Marinette isn't jealous at all. "I hope she does. Please, Tikki. Keep him alive until we old, okay?" She spoke with so much care when it comes to the Goddess, giggling at her choice of words.

"Don't worry Marinette! I'm not letting go of this boy that easily." Her small hands pinched his cheek, him dramatically squealing in pain. "Come on, the boys are probably wondering where we are. They must be worried, right Matt?" Alya nudged him with a smirk, he knew that face very much.

"I'm not sure what you're implying here, Al." Matteo said with confidence, marching his way out of the classroom with Tikki flying inside his pocket. "Yeah right. Let's go Mari!" Alya grabbed her hand.

"Okay!"

Adrien and Nino are seen behind the school, lots of stands from each sections stood out lively as ever. They were also preparing for the day, and the boys wearing a same shirt with Matteo that has superheroes printed on it. "Hold that string up, aaand there! Yeah, that's perfect! You can come down now!"

Their classmates, mostly the boys, are in charge of their small stage. While the girls are inside their respective classroom, designing and sewing their finishing touches. The students were all excited, buzzing around the school with items on their hands, no people walking around without something on them.

Nino takes off his glasses as he wipes his face with his shirt. Despite sweating so much, he had a smile on his face all the time. "Man, everything's coming together! Now we just need the others.." Adrien came down the ladder with a huff, the sweater tied around his wait—swaying in every movement he makes.

"Did you see Matteo anywhere? I'm gonna return this to him." The blonde said while pointing to the sweater. Nino hummed, staring him up and down with suspicious eyes. Adrien was bewildered, also staring at himself if there's a paint anywhere. "No, not your outfit. You."
