And then I met you and found my peace and happiness, and for that moment in my life, it was as though you were the only one that existed in my life and suddenly, other things in my life began to fall into focus and I could finally feel my heart beating again.
It was the end of the school week and Moon sat in front of the mirror, trying to adjust her hair while Sophie moved around in the room picking up the pieces of dresses on the floor one by one.
"I am so happy for you, I wonder when my soulmate will also show himself, I think he is shy. It has been three weeks now", Sophie said dreamily. "When will he finally reveal his true self", said Sophie helping pat Moon's hair and helping tying her hair up with a ribbon neatly.
"I am very sure that he would sure himself very soon, I am very sure", Moon said calmly but her hand was shaking.
"You hands are shaking, Moon. Everything will be fine, Sun loves you", Sophie said, comforting Moon gently.
"I know he loves me, I am well certain about that, Sophie, but somehow, everything feels weird. I do not know, it feels so unreal as though I am living another person's life. It feels too good to be real", Moon said.
"Look at me, Moon and take a deep breath", Sophie calmly relaxed Moon's shoulders.
"Okay", said Moon, taking a deep breath.
"Now, let's go", Sophie said to Moon. Moon took a deep breath as he r blindfold was removed and she was finally allowed to look at her features in the mirror. Sophie had transformed her hair and face into a fairy princess.
"Wow! I look so pretty, I can't even imagine. You did a great job with my face and hair", Moon said, taking in her features. Her silver hair was made into a bun and her pangs were left down with curls on either side of her head, her make-up was stylish and gentle with light touches of pink blush on her cheeks and her small lips were plump and pink. And for a while since she had been child, her silver eyes shone with excitement and longing.
"Thank you, Sophie", Moon stood up, hugged Sophie and left the room, headed for the school garden to have a picnic and sit with Sun.
"Hey", Sun called and Moon turned around to see Sun standing beside the fountain but there was no mat or picnic food.
"Hey", Moon rushed to him and hugged him, feeling as though she had lost him for a million years. "But where is the mat and the fruits?", she asked, looking around.
"It is in another place, but first I would need you to close your eyes", Sun said calmly.
"Okay", Moon said as he put his fingers over her face while she sniffed in the sweet fragrance of summer flowers. His golden locks fell close over her forehead and she smiled as he held her close to his chest, she fell safe and at home in his gentle embrace that she did not know when he had pulled his hands from her face.
"Oh My God", Moon gasped. It was the same place where they had shared their first kiss, the secret garden behind the ball. And it was a gaping beauty. The picnic mat was littered with rose petals and apples, she had told him that was her favorite food. But something else caught her attention, for in the picnic basket was a lysigoras flower. Sun saw the direction of her eyes and smiled.
"He picked up the flower and went down on one knee in front of her, the same way he looked at her with those golden pools at the ball. "Will you do me the honor of being my fated?", Sun asked looking at her innocently.
"Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes, I will be your fated, no matter what happens, no matter the challenges, I will forever be your fated", Moon said. And that is the problem with most people, they don't understand the weight of their words, the power they have to change their words into reality. And because Moon and Sun were no powerful human beings, the garden became a special part of them, their covenant, the link that will bind them forever together, for you see, that is how much power words have. No matter what happens, no matter the situation.
