Next day Devika informed her mother-in-law about Vikram consent for his remarriage.

"What ! Are you sure that Vikram accede to the demand of second marriage."

Devika nodded her head to her mother-in-law with an expressionless
physiognomy. Who didn't even believe what she heard.

"I can't believe it. Really!"

Devika nodded her head making her mother-in-law smile but then her smile faltered , she looked at Devika keeping her right hand on her shoulder she said.

"I know what you must be feeling right now Devika dear but in this crucial time we can't be selfish and just think about ourselves. Vikram had also work really hard for the Kingdom."

Devika nodded her head and her mother-in-law again continues.

"Thankyou a lot Devika dear , I knew that you could only make it possible."

She said and hug Devika while the woman has broked to the core thinking about the future ahead but she controlled herself.

Pealing from the hug Devika took the leave from there and went away from there.

Here Vikram is in the royal meeting room with his high ranked trusted officials and advisors.

"Is there any other way to solve the problem?"

Vikram questioned his officials about the solution of the problem. When one of the official replied.

"King as per as the rules if natural heir is not provided then you will have to leave the throne."

Vikram nodded his head and said.

"Okay."

When Bheem Singh one of his most trusted official and Raksha Mantri (defence minister) stand up bowed at him.

"King."

He said and Vikram nodded his head at him giving him permission to speak further.

"You leaving the throne could be fatal for the Kingdom as there is no one else could take up your position for now . Also you have a lot of enemies who are looking for only one chance to seek their revenge on you."

Vikram looked at him and grab his words in his mind which somewhere he was always aware. Bheem Singh again said after taking a pause.

"You resigning from the position would mean, leaving not only you but whole royal family into the death pit. Right now you are one of the most powerful King but if you back away not only subjects but also the nobles will also feel betrayed King, it would be more easy for your rivals to take you down. It will provide your enemies the chance they are seeking to take their revenge on you in your vulnerable situation."

Vikram looked at him standing up he said with a fierce voice.

"You think I can't protect my family Bheem Singhji."

Bheem Singh bow his head and again said.

"That's not what I mean King but just think about it, for protection we need power also , that's why powerless always got oppressed and persecuted. Your enemies are not some common people they are also powerful being. We can't always take decisions with emotions because sometimes our emotions could hindered our rationality. I am your well wisher King I will never wish your bad in any situation or else whatever you want, you will always found me standing next to you."

Vikram looked at him who was standing in front of him bowing his head. Afterwards Vikram dismissed the meeting.

He sat there closing his eyes as all the doors seems occlude to him. He found himself trapped in these circumstances.

"What kind of marsh is this. I am stuck in a whirlpool.

I sorry my love, I failed you, I failed us. I am really sorry Devika."

He said with a regret lacing voice as his last attempt for somehow avoiding any chance of his remarriage also failed.

Revika and Abhiraj are sitting in their chamber as she wants to discuss about the second marriage of Vikram with her husband.

"So tell me what do you want to discuss with me."

He asked her to which she smile a little and said.

"I want you to talk to Ravindra Singhji for his daughter's hand in marriage with Vikram."

She said to which he looked at her for a second and then asked.

"Did Vikram agreed for his remarriage?"

Revika nodded her head and replied him with a smile.

"Ji , he agreed."

He nodded his head and again asked.

"What about Devika bahu did she agree?"

He asked her , her smile faltered and replaced with a guilt, which she covered up knowing well that what she did with her daughter-in-law, how she has pressured her and manipulate her through Vikram's name time and again, that he is not getting ready because he doesn't want to hurt her, doesn't he deserve to be a father and don't know what but it was also necessary for the whole Kingdom. Again replacing her expression with a smile, she nod her head and said.

"Ji "

"Okay then, I will talk to him."

Smiling at him she said.

Next day Ravindra Singhji was summoned by the former King in the visitors hall.

He bowed at the former King after entering inside the hall.

The King former nodded his head and both of them sat down, when he Ravindra Singh asked.

"The King former what can I do for you !"

He asked to which Abhiraj smiled at him and said.

"Ravindra Singhji  you are one of the most trusted and loyal person in the kingdom."

Ravindra Singh nodded his head and then said while bowing at him.

"I am honoured after hearing the appreciation from the King former itself."

Abhiraj smiled and said.

"I just said the truth Ravindra Singhji."

He nodded his head and said.

"Thanks the King former."

"Ravindra Singhji, today I summoned you here to discuss about the matter which is crucial to the whole kingdom."

Nodding his head at Abhiraj, Ravindra Singh said.

"The heir, the King former."

Abhiraj nodded his head and said.

"Yes, the heir , for whom whole of the kingdom is waiting impatiently."

"But King is not ready for a remarriage the former King."

Abhiraj shake his head at him and said.

"Vikram agreed for his remarriage Ravindra Singhji."

Ravindra Singh looked at him and smiled a little and then said.

"That a relief but how can I help you in this the King former?"

He asked him not understanding why was he summoned here , how can he help them with this. That's when Abhiraj decide to wiped away his confusion with his next sentence.

"Ravindra Singhji , I am asking for your daughter's hand in marriage for Vikram."

Hearing the sentence Ravindra Singhji got frozen for a second not believing what he just hear.
