Reaching back to his home Ravindra Singh summoned his wife.
"Sumitra."
"Ji coming."
She said and come to the hall where her husband was seated. Reaching near him she asked.
"When did you come, you are early today."
He gave her a slight nod in exchange of her question.
"I have to tell you something."
He said his voice laced with seriousness which make his wife a little tense. Sitting besides him on the couch she asked him.
"Ji is everything okay ? Why are you sounding worried ?"
He looked at her and told her.
"Today I was summoned by the former King."
He said making Sumitra looked at him with curiosity.
"Then"
She asked him to which he takes a deep sigh and replied her.
"They want our Sadhika's hand in marriage with King."
Hearing the sentence from her husband's mouth she got stiffed for a moment.
"What !"
"You heard it right Sumitra, the former King asked our daughter's hand in marriage with King."
She looked at her husband and then after a few seconds of pause.
"What did you replied?"
She asked her husband.
"What can I say Sumitra they are royals but still the former King told me to discuss it with my family."
"King is a good person but..."
She said and then looked at her husband and again continues.
"But he is already married and on the top of that they are royals."
Ravindra Singh nodded at his wife and then she again said.
"You are a higher official and a respected person, but still we are not on the same status with the royals "
He looked at his wife nodded his head to his wife who looked at her husband. The stress in the surroundings is palpable.
"I mean I don't know what should I say now. Sadhika is already at the age of getting married. We were already discussing about her marriage.
But the only thing in mind is that how will they treat our daughter."
Sumitra said to which her husband nodded his head and said.
"Royal family in not bad Sumitra they treat people with respect."
He said to which his wife nodded and said.
"What do you think then?"
Taking a deep sigh he looked at his wife and said.
"I have no problem with this proposal Sumitra."
He said to his wife who nodded her head and then he again he said.
"You can talk to Sadhika about it."
He said to which his wife nodded.
"I will, denying royals will not be good for us. It will create havoc in lives and also our daughter will be respected as a queen. So don't work I will make her understand."
She said making her husband nod in understanding.
