"Hi, Doc. My cat, Whiskers, hasn't been eating well lately, and he seems more tired than usual," she said, looking concerned.

"Let's check him out and see what's happening," I replied, nodding.

I started by taking Whiskers' temperature and listening to his heartbeat.

"Whiskers seems a bit dehydrated, but his vital signs are stable. I'll run some tests to confirm," I assured her.

"Thank you, Doc. I was really worried," she said, visibly relieved.

It's my pleasure to help. Let's get him hydrated and comfortable so he feels better soon," I told her.

I gave him fluids and explained the treatment plan to the owner, who listened carefully.

"Whisker is doing well with the fluids. Keep an eye on his appetite over the next few days," I said to her.

"Thank you for taking care of him. You're really good with animals," she said, nodding.

"Thank you. I really enjoy working with animals. If you have any concerns or questions as he recovers, just give me a call," I said with a smile.

My hardworking team was cleaning the reception area as I passed by. "Thank you for today," I said, giving them a nod and a genuine smile. They nodded back, looking tired but happy.

The cake looked perfect a delicious creation adorned with my mother's favorite flowers delicately crafted from frosting.

As Ate Tina handed me the boxed cake, she grinned mischievously and teased, "Kailan mo ba dadalhin dito ang boyfriend mo, hmm?"

Observing carefully, I saw the man step out and open his car trunk. He took out a small first aid kit, which confirmed my suspicion that he needed help.

"Excuse me, sir, do you need any help?" I asked, my voice filled with empathy.

As I neared the man in the black car, his intense green eyes made me hesitate, even though he clearly needed help. His straightforward question, "Who are you?" took me by surprise.

"I'm Blommy," I said calmly, reassuringly meeting his eyes. I got the first aid kit and took him to the backseat of his car for privacy while I helped with his injury.

Even though his car was fancy, I stayed focused on what needed to be done. I checked his bleeding arm and cleaned the wound with antiseptic wipes from the kit. He stayed quiet, letting me work quickly.

"There we go," I said softly after applying a bandage securely around his arm. "You should keep an eye on it and consider seeking further medical attention if necessary."

His green eyes, intense and searching, met mine as he asked,

"How do you know how to treat wounds?"

I hesitated for a moment, then replied earnestly, "I've treated animals, especially dogs and cats." I spoke with sincerity, emphasizing my experience.

His forehead furrowed in disbelief. "Are you for real?" tanong niya, maliwanag na nagulat sa aking sinabi.

"Yes, I am. It's not so different from treating humans." I said, meeting his gaze steadily.

"Do I look like an animal to you?" he asked directly.

I saw his frown get deeper, clearly not convinced by what I said.

"Are you joking?" he asked, clearly not believing me.

He smirked slightly, his expression softening a bit. "How old are you?" he asked suddenly. "Being out here, helping strangers without knowing them is dangerous. Haven't you been warned not to talk to strangers?"

"I get what you're saying," I answered calmly. "But sometimes, you just have to follow your gut and assist someone who needs it."

As I calmly put away the medical supplies back into the kit, I responded to his question about my age with a straightforward, "I'm 30 years old."

He looked genuinely surprised. "Are you sure? You look like you're 19, especially considering your height," he remarked, his tone a mix of surprise and curiosity.

His comment caught me off guard, itinaas ko ang kilay ko, hindi tiyak kung ito'y papuri o pang-iinsulto. "You know what? Is saying 'thank you' hard for you?"

His cold attitude and constant questioning were really getting on my nerves. Frustrated, I sighed heavily and stepped out of his car.

"I regret helping you with the way you're acting," I said sharply, slamming the car door firmly.
