(Light POV)

"Kidnapped, you say?" Near repeats.

"Yes," Light replies with gritted teeth.

Following Aizawa's suggestion, Light called Near and informed him of his situation.

"Light Yagami, I find it highly amusing that you're worrying over your third girlfriend. Or is she a side chick?"

"Now's not the time to make a fool of me, Near!" Light snaps.

"Unless she was important to your Kira plan."

"I'M NOT KIRA!" Light sighs. "Listen, do you think Mello has anything to do with this?"

"Mello? Hm... After he kidnapped your sister to trade the Death Note, and you took it back, maybe that is it. But...why would he do her? She's just a girlfriend."

"So? She was still someone special to me," Light lies.

"I find that highly unlikely. Mello wouldn't have gone after someone like her. Compared to Takada and Amane, she's the least popular. Mello would've gone after one of them because they would've more likely gotten your attention."

"Wow, Near," Matsuda says. "When you say it like that, it does make sense."

"And the only reason why you would've cared is because she's part of your Kira plan."

"Near, let's not start accusing Light right now. We should work together to find Mello," Aizawa suggests trying to calm the atmosphere.

The call goes silent.

"Very well then," Near responds.

(Y/N POV)

It's been almost a month since Ayumi's been kidnapped. Light has came to save her like she promised. However, her new life with The Man From the Tenth wasn't as bad as she thought it'd be. He seemed tsunderic, but he treated her better than Light did, even with no affection.

Ayumi was in her room. It was dull and only had the necessities: a queen size bed, a desk with a chair and a lamp, and a closet. That was it.

The door opened again and Ayumi turned towards the door. "Yes?" she replied. She was in the bed and the blanket was just below her breasts. The Man From The Tenth was staring at her with his icy blue narrowed eyes. He was holding a plate of breakfast in his hands.

"Article said you liked omelettes with sausages," he said as he walked closer. He set the meal at her desk and took a bar of chocolate out of his pocket. He stared down at her. "Aren't you gonna eat? It's not bad; I promise. I can cook," he replied almost teasingly.

Ayumi sat up and took a bite of the omelet. It was better than anything Light ever made. The eggs were perfectly crisp, the seasoning enhanced the flavor, and the grease melted on her tongue. "It's wonderful," she admired while covering her mouth.

"See? I'm not bad," he said cracking a grin.

"No, you're amazing."

The Man from the Tenth leaned in and pulled her head to his face. "Why do you smell like me?" he asked.

Ayumi blushed. She had recently found a shampoo when she went to The Man from the Tenth's bathroom, and it was one from her brand. The image was a photo of her in a light pink revealing once-piece. She was in a pose where both her arms partially flipped her hair and she was 3/4 left. The soap name was Tada!, a nickname for Tadomi, and the scent was Berry Blend.

"It was my shampoo brand," she mumbled.

"And so?" he replied. "Do you take shampoos from your fans?"

"So, you admit you're a fan?" she replies with a smile.

The Man from the Tenth almost blushed at her tease. "Quit that, Domi-san."

"You call me Domi-san but don't give me a name to call you."

"I do," he replies nonchalantly. "And what?"

"What should I call you? TMFTT?"

The Man from the Tenth sighed. "I see. You want something to call me, Tado-san?  Call me Mello."

"Mello," she repeated practicing the name on her tongue. "So I have a fan named Mello?"

"Quit it, you little bastard," he says pushing her head away. "Your teasing's annoying me."

"How much of my ads have you binge-watched, huh?" Ayumi teased.

"Shut up before I gag you again," he threatens.

(Matt POV)

Matt was in his room again, lying on his bed. Ever since Mello brought in that damn woman, he'd been locking himself in there, only leaving to get food. Not only did Mello not reciprocate his feelings and reject his kiss, but now he's likely fallen for his abductee too.

"Damn women," he mutters. "It's always women that take men away from me." He rolls over in his bed. "Why am I always the shadow? I'm not even the second option. I'm not even an option!" Matt grit his teeth in anger. "I hate her; I hate her; I hate her."

Matt sat up and angrily removed his glasses. "I'm gonna kill that damn woman and every other women in the world so that nobody can take Miha away from me."
