Ever since they were kids, Ashlyn had feelings for Taylor. Her long brown hair, her beautiful eyes. She couldn't help but fall for her. And her beautiful smile, was the highlight. Ashlyn never thought she would love her.

But as she grows, the reality starts to sink in. What would other people think of her, loving a girl?

Other people had told her that you can't love the same gender, because that would be disgusting. But Ashlyn does not know the difference.

It's as long as you love someone, and they love you too, right?

But those statements were probably right. Because what would Taylor think of her when she found out about her dirty little secret?

"Hey Ash, heads up!"

A paperball was throw at her head, and she turned her head to the person that threw it. Aiden. "You're zoned out again" he chuckled.

Ashlyn gave him a glare, before sighing. "What do you want?"

"Nothing" He said, playing with his words. God, he really is an idiot.

"Don't you have anyone else to bother, like Tyler, perhaps?" Ashlyn asked sarcastically.

"He's too focused" He said.

Both of them were kind of next to each other, so it was easy for Aiden to talk to her, and most importantly, annoy her.

"Why me..?" She groaned, as she pulled up her hood. "Cause you're kinda entertaining, y'know"

A moment of silence between them, before Aiden asked "Why were you spaced out, though? Is there something going on with your mind?"

Ashlyn looked back at him, before she answered "It's.. nothing."

Aiden raised an eyebrow, before he leaned in closer to her "oh really?"

She nodded.

"Yeah, if I see you crying for no reason then my bet is right" Aiden chuckled. Ashlyn just stared at him, dumbfounded.

"What bet?" She asked.

"Whenever you zone out, you cry some days later" He giggled, as he leaned back against his chair.

"I do not!?" Ashlyn whisper-yelled, looking at Aiden disapprovingly.

"Do you have a.. crush? Are you in that phase?" He smirked. Ashlyn's eyes widened, before she punched his shoulder. "ow!"

"I do not, you idiot!" She grumbled, as she looked away from him.

"Aw.. Ash, you're experiencing the 'I'm not worthy for him' phase!" Aiden giggled proudly.

But in the back of her head, he was right. She was in that phase.

Ashlyn thought, that maybe if she should just try to forget those feelings, then she would not have to love Taylor. But it got worse as the time went on.

The more she looked into her eyes, the more she fell.

She was addicted to it.

It was like taking a drug.

You can't stop taking them, and sooner, they will start to damage you.

Until you can't take it anymore.

But Ashlyn, however, continues.

And it's destroying her.

"Ash, I don't know if I can do this.." Taylor muttered. Today was the day of Taylor's wedding. This was an exciting day, but Taylor couldn't help but be nervous about it.

"Don't worry, I'm sure everyone will think you're pretty" Ashlyn reassured, as she finished tying her hair.

"Are you sure..?" Taylor asked, looking at her. God, she's so beautiful dressed in white.

"Of course.. Because I think you're the most beautiful woman ever" Ashlyn muttered under her breath. She could feel her cheeks heating up ever so slightly.

Taylor smiled, before she kissed Ashlyn's cheek. Ashlyn would be lying if she said she wasn't melting at that spot.

Taylor sees her as a friend. Of course. So she shouldn't be surprised seeing her walk down the isle, standing on the altar with the man she loves.

She's really happy for her, but she still loved her.

She wished she was a boy, so Taylor would love her the same as she loved a boy.

But for now, she'll stand there.

Because she'll do anything to make her happy.

Even if she has to destroy herself for her.

I only liked the 'she wished she as a boy' to the last part cause it reminds me of some poem shi or whatever, lol 👁👁
