riki

after our usual morning dance practice, i noticed eunjin packing up her things for her afternoon classes. an idea popped into my head, and i approached her with a smile.

"hey, eunjin, do you need a ride to your uni?" i asked, trying to sound casual.

she looked up, a bit surprised. "oh, that's really nice of you to offer, but don't you usually take taki and k home?"

i shrugged, keeping my smile. "pfft- they can handle it. besides, it's on my way, and i wouldn't mind the company."

she hesitated for a moment before nodding. "okay, sure. thanks, riki."

as we walked to the parking lot, i saw taki and k already waiting by my car. when they noticed eunjin walking with me, they exchanged exaggerated, betrayed looks.

"oh, i see how it is," taki said, crossing his arms with a mock pout. "ditching your bros for a girl, huh?"

k shook his head in mock disappointment. "we've been replaced, man!"

i laughed, rolling my eyes at their antics. "come on, guys, it's just a ride. besides—it's eunjin."

my heart skipped a beat at my own words, but i tried to stay cool. taki and k's teasing expressions softened, and they shared a knowing look before breaking into supportive smiles.

"all right, all right." taki says, clapping me on the back. "we get it. we'll just walk home, no big deal."

k winked at eunjin. "take good care of him, eunjin." excuse me what was that wink for ????????? i just had to give k a look.

feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement, she nodded. "i will. thanks, guys."

as eunjin moved to get into the back seat, i gently took her arm and guided her to the passenger's seat. "you can sit up front." i said softly, our eyes meeting for a moment.

she blushed, and i felt a flutter in my chest. "thank you."

the drive to her university was filled with light conversation and comfortable silence. i kept glancing over at her, unable to stop smiling. when we finally reached her campus, i pulled over and turned to her.

"i'm glad you accepted the ride." i said, my voice warm. "maybe we can do this more often?"

she smiled back, and my heart felt full. "i'd like that, riki. thank you so much."

as she got out of the car, i couldn't help but feel excited about the growing connection between us. it was clear that something special was forming, and i couldn't wait to see where it would lead.

eunjin

since my last afternoon class didn't take too long to finish, i've decided to head to the dance studio and work on some advanced steps that have been giving me trouble.

i was so focused on trying to get the spin right that i didn't even notice riki approaching until he spoke.

"need some help?" his voice was soft, almost tender.

i looked up, feeling a bit flustered. flustered, exactly what i've been feeling whenever he speaks or just does anything at all. he's really got me all drawn to him since i saw him dance. "yeah, that would be great. i'm having a hard time with this spin."

he nodded and stepped closer, his presence somehow both calming and thrilling. "let's break it down. it's all about balance and timing." he demonstrated the move slowly, his movements fluid and precise.

—god that was so fucking hot.

i watched intently, trying to memorize every detail of his technique. when i attempted the spin, i wobbled and nearly lost my balance. riki was quick to steady me, his hands resting lightly on my waist.

"here, like this." he said, guiding me through the motion. his touch was gentle but firm, and i felt a pleasant warmth spread through me.

we practiced together for a while, with riki's hands often lingering to correct my form. each time our eyes met, there was a spark of something unspoken, something exciting. finally, after several attempts, i managed to nail the spin perfectly.

"you did it!" riki exclaimed, his face lighting up with genuine excitement. THAT WAS SO CUTE????

i grinned, my cheeks flushing with pride and something else. "i couldn't have done it without you."

we stood there, still close, both catching our breath. riki's hands remained on my waist, and i felt my heartbeat quicken.

for a moment, it felt like the world around us faded, leaving just the two of us in the softly lit studio.

riki's gaze dropped to my lips, and i felt myself leaning in ever so slightly. our faces were inches apart, breaths mingling. it was as if time had slowed, the anticipation hanging in the air.

just as our lips were about to touch, a noise from outside broke the spell. we both pulled back, a little embarrassed but smiling.

"i guess we should call it a night." riki said, his voice a bit husky.

i nodded, my heart still racing. "y-yeah, probably."

as we gathered our things, there was a new, electric tension between us.
