While putting a few books into my locker from first hour, I heard laughter from two escape from the hallway. I glance over and see Khayman and Brea laughing together. I'm not going to lie and say that after she told me that Khayman was her favorite, I didn't suggest that she liked him. Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. Either way, they'd be a cute couple and they had to get together sometime.
My locker closed from another hand, that wasn't mine. I looked over and seen Kelly leaned against lockers, smiling at me.
"Hey sunshine. I hope your butt doesn't still hurt from yesterday." He chimes.
I glare at him, "No." I began walking to English Lit, and he followed, putting his arm around my shoulders.
"By the way, just because we're competing doesn't mean you get to be all touchy touchy." I say.
Kelly looked around, and stood in front of me, making me stop walking.
"That's the only thing that turns you on, baby."A few people that surrounded us, bursted into snickers.
"Kelly.." I whisper.
He smirks, and cups my chin, "Have a good hour. Keep it tight for me."
I sigh as I watch him walk away, giving dap to a few peers.
Kelly: II
Aurora: 0I chewed on the end of my pencil, not focused on what my teacher was saying at the moment. I was focused on a plan. I needed a serious plan to get back at Kelly because apparently he was winning. It was like, he was naturally good at this stuff without even trying. It angered me, how he got me so easily. Like, how?
"Right, Aurora?"
I looked up at my teacher, who happened to be looking at me.
"Right." I agreed.
The class erupted into laughter at my response. Quizzically, I raise an eyebrow, "Wait, what?"
My teacher shook her head, and carried on with her lecture, "To increase precision in expression, you must apply methods of literary analysis and write with a variety of purposes..."
Spacing out again, I began doodling in my notebook thinking of numerous ways, I could get back at Kelly. Whilst doing so, I seen a folded up piece of paper at the end of my desk.
I picked it up, and opened it....Maybe you'd be able to focus if you'd stop thinking about my boyfriend. xo
I furrow my eyebrows at the note, and look to my right to see Hayley at the far end, looking at me already. I stare back at her, and make a confused face. She winks at me, and then turns her attention back to the front of the room. I mentally laugh, and put her note in my back pocket.
Her boyfriend, psh.
"Her boyfriend?! Psh." Brea exclaimed.
"That's exactly what I said!"
On prep hour, I showed Brea the note Hayley wrote me and she nearly exploded.
"They broke up last year, now that she sees he's with another girl, she wants to make some noise. Man, if she doesn't take her ass somewhere else."
So yeah, Brea was angry. I wasn't angry because I didn't know how to take the note. Was it a threat or what? I'm lost. If it was, oh well. Until it was confirmed by Kelly that they were back together, I was going to still do me, regardless of her sayings.
