Saturday afternoon, I arrived home getting buried with questions from my mom and dad.
Don't get me wrong, I love my parents to death but they needed to leave me the hell alone for like an hour.
When I'm home they're constantly on my back.

Aurora, did you do your homework?
Aurora, how was dchool?
Aurora, did you make friends?
Can you rub my ointment on my back, Aurora?

Shut up!

Is what I want to say, but there's no telling how long my lecture would be about that.

"Okay, I don't want to talk today. I'm going to bed." I tell them, cutting them off about how their night was last night. I really didn't care. I was just a little hung over and still pissed off about last night. I was up for the remainder of the night thinking about what I could do to get back at him, but nothing was coming to mind. It was frustrating to say the least, and even though I shouldn't be saying this, its just me and my mind, but I could slowly be falling for the dumb ass. Not because of the competition, just because of his personality out of the competition. He was too chill, and I liked that. But he was still a dick.

"Aurora!"

"What?" I holler.

When my mom didn't reply, I got up reluctantly. I hated when my parents did that. They call your name, you respond, then they don't respond, so then you got to get up to see what the hell they want.
I walked down the stairs, and halted when I seen an extra tall lightskin, with the out of the ordinary, but unique haircut talking to my mom.

She looked at me, "This boy said he goes to your school. You know him as Kelly?"

"No, I don't know who that is, Mom. Make him leave." I start up the stairs, but then get called by my middle name.

"I think you know who this is, don't lie to me." Mom eyed me.

I glare at Kelly, and he smiles at me, "Never seen him before. I'm going upstairs, and please don't stop me again." I walk up the stairs back into my room.

I definitely didn't want to see him right now.

Laying back into my bed, I smiled softly when I heard the front door close.

"Aurora, you're a liar. That boy showed me a picture of you two." My mom said, opening my door without knocking.

I open my eyes, "Oops."

"He's a cutie pie. Tall, light, and handsome. He plays basketball, he told me. He looks like he's good."

I shrug, "He's okay."

My mom smiles, "Okay in what? His looks or basketball?"

"Both." I chuckle.

"Over my dead body. Do you like him? In that picture it looked as if you did."

"Just friends. Barely that. I got forced to take that picture."

My mom laughed, "Forced? Nobody can ever force Aurora. You're too hard headed."

I smile and point at her, "Aye, you're actually right about something."
