"Where are you going today?" My dad asks me as I tried to escape the front door without getting asked any questions.
I turn around, and he widens his eyes at my appearance. I had on my white Triangl bikini, and my black sheer cover up.
"Over to a friends. We'll be chilling pool side." I tell him.
He raises his eyebrows, "Will there be boys there?"
I nod slowly. "The friend is a guy."
"Oh no."
I furrow my eyebrows, "What?"
"You can't go." He says.
I frown, "Dad! Other people will be there, his mom will too!"
He stays silent and reads his newspaper. I lied when I said there will be other people there, but I was trying to go without any worries. I couldn't do that, especially if Mom wasn't here.
"Be home by eight." He says sternly.
I roll my eyes. I will convince my mom to change it. He was too strict sometimes that it became ridiculous.
"Mhm, okay. By the way, Tricia Winters says hello." I tell him.
He looks up at me, "How do you know Tricia Winters?"
I squint my eyes at his tone, "My other friend from school, that's his mom. Bryshere Winters."
He nods, "Okay. I say hello."
"We're you guys cool?"
"Yeah, for the most part but you know high school."
I nod, and pierce my lips, "Okay. Well, bye."

Kelly opened the door, and exposed his tattooed shirtless body and swim trunks. He smiled, his white teeth beaming at me, "Hey Aurora."
I grin, "Hi Kelly." I step inside, giving him a small hug. "How are you?"
"I'm pretty jolly, and you?" He boasts, closing the door.
"I'm good."
He nods, and smiles even more, if possible. "Come this way."
He led to the kitchen, where a lady in an apron with a head full of black naturally curly hair and the same skin tone color as Kelly stood with her back towards us.
I assumed it was his mother."Mom, Aurora is here!" He said.
She turned around swiftly with smile, showing her dimples and hazel eyes. "Hi Aurora. How are you, dear? I'm just cooking for you and Kelly."
I smile, "Hi Maria. I'm good, how are you?"
"I am doing just fine." She beams. She looked like a female version of Kelly, it was crazy. She was very beautiful.
