Mate, I am so fucked

I just I thought that I could get over Indi

But the more I get to know her the more I like her

And she has a date in Baku

Oh I didn't know, I would have told you

Yeah, but like a fool I helped her pick her outfit for it 

And mate, I can't get the picture of her

 in a white dress out of my head!

Geez I didn't know you liked her that much

but my advice is, wait it out

Maybe the guy is a dick and nothing will come out of it

Yeah you are right

I exit our chat and throw my phone next to me. I was so excited for this weekend because I was planning to invite Indi to come sightseeing with me, because she mentioned not having time and since I have already been there I could show her the best places, but I think that is out of the picture now. Anyways, I better get to sleep because tomorrow we have a long travel day ahead of us.

We have finally arrived at Baku, and are heading to the hotel Mclaren arranged for the whole team. We somehow managed to get 3 out of the 5 updates into the car for this race, but most of them work better in a normal circuit instead of a street, so we are not confident on the changes it will bring.

This weekend is also the first sprint weekend of the year which is strange, as someone who watched F1 from home, I am not a fan of it. Especially because its at one of the most difficuñt circuits. There is always some kind of crash, and I hope we are not one this year because it would mean a really long night of reassembling the car.

"Hey Indi, I was meaning to ask you, is tomorrow night good for you?" Sam catches up to me in the lobby, "I know media day is your most relaxed day"

"Yeah sure, sounds good to me"

"Perfect, I will confirm our reservation. See you beautiful" He leans and plants a kiss on my cheek. 

I turn to grab my luggage and find Lando and Oscar looking at me with both their jaws opened. "What?" 

"You are going on a date? With him?" Oscar makes a disgusted face.

"Hey, don't be rude! But yes I am, and its not nice to eavesdrop, you know?" I huff and turn to go to the elevator. Of course, they follow me.

"But why? I thought you didn't like him" Lando goes for a more gentle approach.

"Well we started talking more so I thought I would say yes. Besides, it's not like I am marrying the guy, its just one date" 

"But as your unofficial, official big brother I warn you, he doesn't have the best track record with girls, I think he went out with like five last year only!"

"And you are one to talk! You go on dates every other day!" I huff and quickly step out of the elevator when it opens on my floor, "I thought you guys were going to be a bit more supportive of my decision but I guess not." I angrily get to my room and order room service for the night, I really don't want to go down to the dinning hall when I am mad at my best friends.
