Solana was around 7 months now, and now that she was as far into the journey as she was now, it finally hit her that she was actually having a baby. A baby that would be in her arms in just two months, her first baby. Her and Jungkook were just about done with the nursery, since they started working on it a few weeks after Solana announced her pregnancy. They decided on light pink paint for the walls, it only taking a few weeks or so to finish it up. Solana used Pinterest to find what furniture would suit the room best, considering they wanted the room to be comfortable for their baby. Jungkook built and set up most of the furniture, considering he didn't want her to move around so much.

Even so much as lifting a box Jungkook would shoo her away back to their bed or the sofa in the living room. Solana never got mad or angry, knowing he just wanted what was best for her and the baby. Their doctor did suggest that she not do as much movement as she usually does, which Solana had to get used to as well. She was so used to keeping herself occupied with something, trying to keep her mind and body stimulated. But since she was carrying a baby inside her now, that limited the amount of things she could do. She was grateful it didn't take away from her reading time though.

This pregnancy has even helped Solana form new hobbies of her own. Baking or listening to music has always been one of her favorites, but now she enjoyed knitting. She started off with small things in the beginning, using Youtube as a common method of learning. Eventually, she decided to make her first blanket for the baby. She decided the design would be a cute pattern of small strawberries across the fabric.

Seeing as being pregnant did have it's positives, it also had it's negatives. Her hormones worsened over the past few months, which her doctor explained was normal for any pregnant woman. Some areas of her body like her feet became swollen, only able to be up and moving around parts of the day. Her breasts had began to swell as well, considering they were trying to lactate milk. Her moods were a bit up and down, depending on the day. Solana wasn't cranky per say, she just needed more space than usual. She felt guilty at times because of it, knowing physical touch was a common show of affection for Jungkook.

But he understood, and was handling her roller-coaster of moods quite well - at least for the most part. He still had times where he didn't exactly know how to handle certain issues. Like a few days prior, Solana called him at work asking if he could stop by the store to get her another tub of vanilla ice cream. Jungkook then went to the store to retrieve her sudden craving, only to come home to give it to her and see her in tears.

To say he was confused would an understatement. Solana held the container of ice cream in her hands, crying out "I don't want it anymore, I'm sorry". Jungkook felt terrible, seeing her sobbing with guilt because she suddenly wasn't craving the ice cream anymore. He began to reassure her, saying it was completely okay and that she could simply eat it later if she wanted to. To fix it, he simply suggested that he cook her comfort meal (steak with mashed potatoes) and put on To All The Boys I've Loved Before to cheer her up.

So yes, for the most part, Jungkook had this pregnancy under control.

Today though, the couple would be attending another appointment. They only had a few more to go to before the baby was born. Once the ninth month mark came around, the baby could come at any time, as early as before it's actual due date. The possibility did worry Solana, hoping that Jungkook wouldn't be at work or something when her water decided to break, but she didn't wanna jinx anything.

Right now, Solana was getting ready for the appointment, only adding a small amount of makeup since they weren't going anywhere fancy. Her and Jungkook decided beforehand that they wanted to run a few arrands after the appointment while they were out. They also had to purchase a few more things for the baby's nursery.
