Solana was around 37 weeks pregnant now, practically even closer to her due date. Her and Jungkook had their suspicions of the baby coming a few earlier, considering it was possible. Solana's stomach had dropped a few weeks prior, it now being rounder than before. Solana constantly applied lotion and different oils to it since it peeked out of her clothes more now, she could barely wear pants around the house anymore. Solana usually resulted in wearing one of Jungkook's boxers or shirts around the house and nothing else, and it left her rather comfortable to say the least.

Her hormones weren't any different now that the due date was near, she just became emotional easily about certain things. The "ice cream incident" never came up again, but Solana often cried because she felt helpless at times. At this point of her pregnancy, she often had a lot of back pain and swollen feet which resulted in her having to sit down and relax most of the time. Despite this, Jungkook was always there to tell her that it's okay and that he understands. If anything, he enjoys taking care of her. He sets up baths for her when her body is in pain, messages her feet when they hurt, cooks her even kind of craving she may have (or in this case the baby's craving).

Even though they spent so much time together before she got pregnant, Jungkook has enjoyed getting to bond with Solana and their baby. Jungkook would talk to the baby every night, telling her how both their days were and telling her goodnight each time. Each time he got home from work, he would greet Solana and then place a bunch of kisses on her stomach to greet their little girl. When they had their movie nights, he always made sure the baby was included in some way. Asking her questions like "did you see that, princess?" or "That movie was amazing, what do you think, baby?"

All Solana could do was smile, her heart melting at how considerate her boyfriend was of their child, considering she wasn't even out of the womb yet. Hell, he even sang to her. One night, Solana was laying in bed munching on a bowl of ice cream while Jungkook sang "Cruel Summer", using his hairbrush as a microphone to add to the effect. Solana laughed and giggled as she ate her ice cream, feeling their little girl kick inside her stomach as Solana swayed side to side to her boyfriend's passionate singing. Despite the times where Solana did feel helpless or guilty that she had to sit around most of the time to help with the aches of her body, Jungkook was always there to remind her with three simple words.

"It's okay, baby".

And somehow, those words always reassured Solana and her constant swirl of thoughts full of anxiety. And when those thoughts came and went, she would simply look down at her stomach and smile. Solana would smile and caress the child growing peacefully inside her womb. Telling the little girl inside that she couldn't wait to meet her and hold her in her arms for the first time.

Solana was at home by herself on a Friday evening. She was laying in bed with Bam close to her side while she knitted, one of the Harry Potter films playing as background noise from her laptop. She hummed quietly as she did her work, Bam occasionally lifting his head to see what his mama was doing. Solana would shoot him a soft smile every once in a while, rubbing at his fur and ears before continuing her knitting. She was just about done with the blanket for the baby, only adding a few finishing touches after months of working on it.

Solana sighed with satisfaction once she was finished, holding it up for herself and the Doberman to see. "Mama's finally done, bubby", she smiled at the cutely patterned baby blanket. Bam tilted his head a bit at it, but seemed to like it nonetheless as his tail wagged out of excitement. Solana got her phone from the nightstand, taking a few pictures of the blanket to send to Jungkook while he was at work. She was missing him but knew he would be home in a few hours. Solana pouted a bit as she thought of who she could have over for company until she got home. She would ask Olive but she's working at the cafe later than usual that day. Solana didn't wanna bother the girl too much anyways, she and Aaliyah came over just a few days prior to bake cookies with her.
