“Where’s Vinny?” I asked when I noticed he’s not around.
Some of them were wasted and the others were still drinking. Nasa i-isang part lang kaming grupo, pero ‘yung iba ay umuwi na. Madaling araw na rin kasi and we're not yet done drinking.
Hindi ko kilala ‘yung ibang mga tao that Zachary invited but they seem familiar to me. May mga coaches, of course. Meron ding galing sa ibang school na kasali lang din sa UAAP.
“Umalis kanina, hindi ko nakita kung saan pumunta.” Sevi answered, a bit tipsy.
“Comfort Room, Bro.” Loki answered me and drank from his glass.
“Iba yata tama ng bacardi sa’yo, pre. You look too serious!” Javi said chuckling harshly while tapping Loki’s shoulder.
“Sometimes, in our lives. The people we like, they don't choose us. I know they have a reason but we just don't accept it or have a hard time accepting it. Just like what happened to him.” Zachary's pointing fingers were in Loki’s direction.
“He chose me... but” Loki's voice was a bit cracking up yet almost a whisper.
“But?” Javi’s face looked so intrigued because of it.
“But as his friend. Nothing more, nothing less.” Loki's eyes were almost tearing up, konti nalang at i-iyak na siya dahil dito.
“It's just fine, bro.” Zach comforting him.
“Find other guys, bro. Hindi siya kawalan. If you want, I'll donate one of my girl best friends to you. Cheer up, man!” Zach advises him. May point, kaso pointless.
“Ayun nga, eh. Ang kaso, nasa circles lang siya!” Loki uttered unconsciously.
Nagulat kaming lahat. Si Javi na naka focus lang sa phone niya kanina ay napatingin na rin sa direksiyon ni Loki. Si Sevi na hawak na ‘yung baso niya at handa nang ilagok iyon ay natigilan din.
“What the heck, bro?” gulat na singhal ni Zach.
“Gago! Sino sa amin?” Si Sevi na hindi maka paniwala.
“Ang kapal naman nang mukha mo, Sev.” Javi uttered with a chuckle.
“Baka ikaw ang Happy crush niya, Javiel?” si Sevi na naka ngisi pa.
“Mga Gago!” Suway ni Loki, “Punta lang akong banyo.” he added, natawa ako.
“Ingat, lods. Sana hindi ka ma-flash sa kubeta.” Javi teased and chuckled hard.
Si Sevi ay wala paring i-deya at si Zach naman ay iba na ang tingin kay Javi. Natawa ako dahil sa re-aksiyon nila. Tumingin sa akin si Javi at sabay kaming natawa.
“Gago ka, Jav. Nagpapa iyak ka ng bata!” pang gi-guilt trip ni Sevi.
“Hindi ako!” Javi spoke kaya tumigil si Sevi.
“Eh, sino?” Zach asked, naguguluhan din sa nangyayari.
“I don't know? Ask him!” sagot ni Javi at uminom sa baso niya.
