You were a Nurse at the local hospital when Tim got shot and you guys talked during his stay there. Once he got out he would make excuses to come see you.

He asked you to dinner and you had to decline because you had a 6 month old and had no one to watch her. He then asked if he could bring you dinner once she fell asleep and you said yes and then you guys were inseparable.

It's been 5 years. You were married 2 years in and you had a 2 month old together. You were still on maternity leave so you decided to visit Tim at work.

You walked into the station with both kids and smiled as you saw your husband walk in from patrol. "Daddy!!" Camila shouted running to Tim.

Tim smiled picking her up "What are you guys doing here?" He asked her walking closer to you. She giggled "Mama said we were going to have lunch with you."

He smiled and kissed you "Is that right?" He asked you looking at you softly.

You nodded "Yes baby Bradford needed a change of scenery so I figured we would come see daddy"

"Ohhh really? Did he tell you that or was it mama that needed the change?" When he said that you sighed "I needed to see you. You being gone for 12 hours is killing me. I feel like I'm not doing anything"

He scoffed "baby you're doing everything. You're raising our babies that's all that matters" he said kissing the top of his sons head and then he remembered "Oh yeah Wesley's here. He said he had papers for us"

You got really excited as that could mean a lot of things. Once Tim and you got married you started the process to have him Adopt Camila and then we had to fight her birth father legally and then wait for everything else to play out.

As you walked over Lopez smiled "Oh how cute it's a family affair."

You smiled "Do you want to hold him?" She quickly nodded reaching her hands out "Of course!"

Wesley looked at the baby then Tim "What are we calling him again?"

"TJ or Timothy I thought we settled on TJ but Y/N calls him Timothy" he said chuckling.

You but in "Okay well his full name is Timothy and you don't go by Timothy so I don't see the problem in calling him that"

Tim smiled "There's no problem I'm just gonna call him TJ and also Wesley did you finally bring us good papers"

He smiled and handed them to Tim "Congratulations she is now Camila Bradford" Tim's mouth dropped "Does this mean we won?" He asked standing up still holding her.

"Yes. Her bio father signed over the rights last month and the judge found yours and colleague testimonies beautiful and now you are legally Camilas father" as soon as Wesley said that Tim smiled and kissed you.

Aaron was eavesdropping "I didn't know she wasn't yours?"

Tim hated when people said that because ever since he met you and your baby Camila was his. She's only ever known him as her dad and he never told people otherwise. "Well yeah that's the point. I don't tell people."

Aaron looked at Tim then you curios and you spoke up "Tim and I met after she was born. He's been around for 5 years. We've been waiting for this adoption to process for 2 years now. As far as anyone is concerned that's her dad. Got it" you said snappy and he walked away

Tim laughed "Still got the snappiness I see" you smirked.

You kissed him "Well it's not up to people to know you're not biologically her father because it doesn't matter."
