You were an ADA and you just so happen to be Wesley Evers cousin so it made every holiday and gathering more awkward after your split with Tim considering Angela always invited him.

You met Tim at Angela and Wesley's wedding and quickly things became heated. You were at the reception when you decided to head off to the dressing room with him and then go back to his house with him.

You didn't know if it was alcohol or love at first sight until one night quickly turned into weeks. You found yourself transferring from Sacramento to LA just to be closer to him.

You were so drunk at the reception you didn't use protection and that's how you ended up with your son Matthew.

You guys got married three months in and it was pure bliss until year four. They say that the first baby tests the married but baby Anthony really did it for you guys.

Going from one to two you guys just couldn't find your spark again. Tim was working late and you couldn't tell if it was because he wanted to or because he had to.

You guys started fighting really bad after Anthony was born because the exhaustion was real with him and a potty training 3 year old but the fight about him working later broke the camels back.

You guys divorced right after Matthew turned 4 and right before Anthony turned 1. You celebrated Anthony's birthday together but after that you would use Wesley or Angela as the middle person in exchanges.

It's now been 2 years since your divorce and Wesley's mother who practically raised you after your parents died insisted on throwing Anthony and Olivia *baby Evers just guessing on a name* a joint 3rd birthday party since they're two days apart.

You walked into Patrice's house and right over to Wesley "Did you get the boys" you asked him as he said he would. Wesley shook his head "No he's coming with them"

You groaned "Wesley! We agreed" you said upset. Fighting with him was normal as he was more of a brother than a cousin.

Wesley shook his head "No you agreed he wouldn't come while Tim said he wanted to be here. It's only fair it's his son too" he said trying to reason with you

You rolled your "He's never at their parties he always gets them the next day. He knows I don't want to see him."

Angela walks over chuckling "Hate to break it to you but he goes to every party. He just stands in the back so you won't see him."

Wesley butted back in "He's not the one who can't stand to be around you. You're the one who hates him so come on let him be here. My moms house is big enough you can escape to not be by him."

You sighed "I don't hate him. Honestly it's the exact opposite. I still very much love him"

Angela furrowed her eyes "Then why did you guys get a divorce."

You chuckled "I wanted therapy and he said no. Things weren't getting better and he wasn't trying to fix them. Then next thing I knew we were getting a divorce."

Angela shook her head "so he was being stubborn" she said right as both Matthew and Anthony ran through the door.

You looked at Wesley as soon as you hear his boots and you took off with Anthony.

You hated that you couldn't be around Tim but you knew that if you looked at him you  wouldn't be able to resist him and he doesn't love you anymore. It was time to accept that. Maybe today you could finally reach a coparenting place.
