🌡️ Pepper coughed in her bed, thankful this fever was almost gone, now her throat was just sore. She sat up groggily and grabbed her suitcase. "What do I pack-" She coughed yet again and started folding her clothes, gently putting them in the suitcase. "Gotta bring my pillow, toothpaste, toothbrush, floss.." She continued yapping and flinched when her friend, Lenora burst into her room.
"OMG PEPPER! I HEARD YOU HAD A DEADLY DISEASE! ARE YOU OKAY?!" Lenora ran over to her and shook her violently from the shoulders. "N-No! What? I'm fine!! I had a Fever..." Pepper tried to calm Lenora down.
"O-oh..." Lenora blushed and looked away, finding it awkward she had gotten something so silly mixed up.
"Hello." Collin entered the room and leaned against the wall. Keeping a distance. Peppers heart started beating faster, but she ignored it.
"Oh yes! Collin wanted to tell you something today!" Lenora giggled and glared at Collin. "WHAT? NO I DIDNT! NOT TODAY!" Collin snapped back at her Blushing deeply.
Pepper laughed as she zipped up her suitcase. "The field trip is soon! I'm so excited!"
"It's exciting!" Lenora agreed.

"Okay! Please get back home safe guys!" She smiled, waving goodbye as her friends left her house, "So... you seem close with that Collin boy!" Her grandma chimed in.
"We are just friends..!" Pepper muttered and felt her face get all warm. Just thinking of him made her feel funny.
Pepper ran up stairs and rubbed her head. "Ugh, why do I feel like that around him.."
She whispered to herself, curling up on her bed with a pillow held close. "..." She blushed and looked at herself in the mirror. "I better not be in love..."
