What's Luv? Pt. 2

              Dezhanae's POV

I yawned as I rolled over in bed and grabbed my phone off of the night stand

I texted Tori last night to check on her and ask a couple questions

I noticed that Jayson came in empty handed when he brought Deuce over last night meaning the poor baby didn't have a tooth brush or a change of clothes

I asked Tori what size clothes he wore and what kind of stuff he liked because I planned on buying him a couple outfits, some hygiene stuff, and at least a couple toys

She gave me all the information I needed and I put in a Walmart order in last night then made sure it would be here by 8am

I looked at the time and seen that it was 9:45 meaning that everything should be delivered already

I put on my robe and slippers then headed to the front door

Sure enough all my bags were out there

I yawned and took the bags upstairs to unload everything

Tori told me that he knew how to bathe himself but he just needed me to run the bath water so that's what I did

I set a towel on top of the toilet and opened the small toothbrush I had bought. It had a cute little suction cup on the bottom so it wouldn't fall over

I set the bathroom up so everything was accessible to him

Once all of that was done I went into the room and lightly tapped him until he woke up

"Good morning" I whispered as his eyes shot open

He rubbed his eyes and sat up

"I made you a bubble bath so you could start your day off right, is that okay?" I asked as I whispered

He nodded and slowly got out of bed

"Your mommy said you're a big boy and you can do everything yourself so I got everything ready for you to use" I said as I walked him into the bathroom

I watched as he yawned, grabbed his toothbrush, and the mini toothpaste it came with

I looked down and realized he didn't even need the stool I bought; damn he's a tall kid

Is she sure he's 6?

"What would you like for breakfast?" I asked

"Fruit" he said before continuing to brush his teeth

"Any specific kind or just some of everything?" I asked

"Ummm Everything" he nodded before rinsing his mouth out

"Cool, everything will be done once you finish your bath" I nodded

"Okay" he said before sticking his toothbrush back on the sink

"There's a little paw patrol robe under the towel for you to put on after the bath, okay?"

"Okay" he nodded

I left the bathroom so he could handle his business

I ordered a bunch of fruit and made sure I got the priority delivery so it would only take 20 minutes at the latest

By the time he was finished in the bath, the food had come

I let him pick from the outfits I had bought then went back to the kitchen to make us fruit bowls while he got dressed

I made Jayson one too and put it in the fridge

"Can I keep the robe on?" He asked as I handed him two bottles of apple juice

"Yeah as long as your comfortable" I nodded as I grabbed the two bowls of mixed fruit

"Can we watch cartoons?" He asked

"Of course, you can pick the show" I smiled as we walked upstairs

We both carefully got into the bed next to Jayson

I grabbed the remote from the night stand and turned the TV on

"What show?" I asked

"Ummm paw patrol" he said

I clicked on Nick jr and clicked on paw patrol

I've never seen this show but the little dogs all over his robe were adorable

About an hour into the show I was hooked

"So who's the yellow one?" I heard Dez ask as I opened my eyes

"Rubble, he builds stuff" I heard Deuce say

I looked over and seen the both of them in the bed next to me with their eyes glued to the TV screen

"I like the red one" Dez said

"Marshall" Deuce corrected her

"Yeah, his fire truck is cute" she nodded

I yawned and sat up which made them both turn to me

"Good morning" Dez smiled

Deuce just smiled before turning his attention back to the TV

"Good morning, what time is it?" I asked

"Uh almost 11:30" Dez said before turning her attention back to the TV

I went to get out of bed but Deuce yelled at me to wait

I stopped moving and just looked at him in confusion

I watched as he moved a big bowl of fruit that was being propped up by my leg

"Okay now you can move" he said before popping a piece of pineapple in his mouth

"Oh there's a fruit bowl in the fridge for you" Dez said as she waved a strawberry around

"Thanks" I nodded

"Where this dude get all these dogs from?" Dez asked Deuce

"He adopted them" Deuce replied

"Where his momma at? She know he got all these dogs?" Dez asked

Deuce just shrugged

I just laughed to myself as I walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth

I noticed a little paw patrol toothbrush stuck to the sink and smiled

"Why does the mayor own a chicken?" Dez asked

"That's her pet" Deuce replied

"Ahh okay...Why are the townspeople so strange?" I heard Dez laugh

Deuce's laughter followed right behind

The fact that she was this involved with the TV show was so funny to me

I brushed my teeth then walked back into the room to get a change of clothes

I noticed that Deuce was in Completely different clothes

This dude had a fluffy robe on and fresh slippers

Now that I'm looking...him and Dez both got on robes and slippers

I'm the only one looking uncomfortably dressed

I knew Dez had to have bought them because I didn't bring him anything

My initial thought was to take him back to my house once I got up

I guess she saw the way I was staring at his clothes because she immediately started to explain herself

"I hope you don't mind, I called Tori last night and asked what size clothes-"

"It's cool, thank you. I appreciate it" I smiled

"Oh..you're welcome" she smiled before turning her attention back to the TV

She looked out for my kid and that's something many women wouldn't do

From the bottom of my heart I really appreciated it; I appreciated her
