Once Upon A Dream

POV PT.3

               Jayson's POV

It's been a week since we've gotten back home and I was expecting Dez to go back to her usual routine but she hasn't

I don't know if i should be happy because she's finally taking life slow or if I should be worried because she isn't doing anything that she normally does

"I'm about to go pick up the kids, you wanna come?" I asked Dez as she laid in bed

"No" she yawned

I looked at her like she was crazy

She'd usually jump out of bed and cartwheel down the stairs just for the car ride

"Okay" I said before walking out of the room

This is weird

"You still love me right?" I asked as I walked back into our bedroom

She sat up and looked at me like I was crazy before bursting out in a fit of laughter

"Yes, babe; I still love you" she laughed

"Just checking" I said as I narrowed my eyes at her

"Babe my period is on and the cramps are kicking my ass..I'm too uncomfortable to move around" she explained

"Is there anything I can do?" I asked

"Nah, I already took a Tylenol; I just need a nap" she yawned

"Okay, I'll be back in like 45 minutes" I said

She just nodded and laid back down

I grabbed my car keys and headed to the car

The kids were at my mom's for the weekend then Tori picked them up for her week with Deuce; she damn near begged to keep Reign too so we just let her

I thought Deuce might've wanted a week to himself but he proved me wrong when he gave me a bunch of reasons why Reign should stay with him at Tori's

I wasn't about to argue down a 7 year old so I left it alone

The week was over and it was time for the rascals to come home which I was excited for because I missed my kids

About 5 minutes into my drive I got a call from Dez

"You alright?" I asked as I answered the phone

I figured something was wrong since I literally just left her

"Yeah I'm fine" she laughed

I loved hearing her laugh

"Chris's producer just sent over the final copy of my song..I sent it to you along with 2 other singles that I made before we left" she said

I just smiled knowing that she was asking for my opinion

"I'll listen to them right now" I smiled

"Yay! Call me back when you're done..no I take that back, get me ice cream on the way back and we can talk while I eat" she said
