We've seen the many journeys of Neas, the Gladiator of Gallifrey, across the Infinite DC. But what about their father, Aznavorian the Tinkerer? What journeys have these men and women led in, around, and outside the lives of Neas? The incarnations of...
Traveling through multiple dimensions and facing some of the most terrifying monsters that would give any kid his age nightmares, 10-year-old Craig Williams figured he was immune to fear and anxiety by now. That proved to be false on the day that Toman Napitupulu, an Indonesian-American Creek kid who was super competitive, challenged him and his friends, J.P. Mercer and Kelsey Pokoly, to a basketball game.
Craig had no idea how they even got roped into this.
Oh, that's right. I was the one who got us into this.
Between Toman's bragging of his skills and his way of giving himself nicknames, Craig couldn't stand it much longer and straight-up told him one afternoon, "You're not as skilled as you think you are, Toman!"
Looking back on it, Craig couldn't believe he even said that.
Maybe his travels in the Infinite DC had really boosted his confidence...a little too much!
The game would be in teams of four, which meant Craig, J.P., and Kelsey would need a fourth person for their team. They searched and searched for days all around the Creek for anyone willing to play against Toman and his team; but no one was either athletically gifted or brave enough.
Craig even asked the one grownup who would've evened the playfield: his best friend from another dimension – Rania, an alien from a race of beings called 'Time Lords'. Being a Time Lord, Rania was capable of changing her appearance whenever she suffered an illness or was gravely injured. In her case, she was forced to change when her previous incarnation – a curly-haired redheaded woman named Scarlet – was given a lethal dose of Regen-8, an ancient Time Lord formula with unpredictable and deadly results.
Thankfully, Rania was given an antidote to stabilize her new body, which came in the form of a beautiful, fair-skinned brunette, physically in her twenties; though she looked Caucasian in appearance, she had flecks of Lebanese in her features, such as her hazel-brown eyes that sometimes turned green or a faint blue, and her lightly tanned skin that often turned pale if she spent too long inside her white, orb-shaped Type-X TARDIS – her means of interdimensional travel.

"Craig, you know I can't be on your team," she told him after her last class of the day at Herkleton Middle School. Not only was Rania his best friend and traveling buddy, she was also his teacher and personal tutor.
"Why not?" Craig asked. "Didn't you say once that you competed in a basketball tournament?"
"The Ninth Space Jam Tournament," Rania specified.
"And you bragged about kicking the butts of a bunch of cyborgs or something?"
"They were animorphs, not cyborgs. And I don't 'brag'. I simply give self-praise."
