"An Anti-Angel?"

Kate Stewart's mouth was full of her evening dinner whilst conducting her Skype call with Yvette Dwonch. It was one of Dwonch's pet peeves to listen to someone talk while eating, which was why she returned Kate's reaction with a witty remark: "Yeah, quite the mouthful, isn't it?"

It prompted Kate to look down at the piece of steak impaled on her fork. She reconsidered taking the bite, opting instead to swallow the bits in her mouth before resuming the discussion. "My apologies, General," she said. "But you did call at a rather inopportune time."

"It's all good," Dwonch waved it off. "I skipped lunch today, on account of our special visitor."

"Yes, as I was saying," Kate continued. "I'm only able to disclose the details supplied by the Doctor on the creatures they refer as 'Weeping Angels'. U.N.I.T. has no such records on this 'Anti-Angel' you have there right now."

"Dammit," Yvette moaned.

"What about your Time Lord consultant? Neas? Aren't they a liaison for the U.S. division?"

"Yeah, but they're unavailable at the moment, so I got their father – Aznavorian."

"Ah, yes, the Tinkerer. The one who helped you and my father on Abydos. Is it the flirty young Latina again?"

Yvette shook her head. "A young brunette with a turtleneck and a booty that doesn't quit. She goes by 'Rania'."

Kate shook her head, snickering. "These Time Lords are a fascinating lot."

"Tell me about it," Dwonch sighed. "Thanks for answerin', Kate."

"Always a pleasure, General. Good luck."

Yvette closed the laptop on her desk, ending the call, right at the time one of her subordinates – a fresh-faced Ghanan-American man in his mid-twenties – walked into her office and informed, "Ma'am, a ship just materialized in the storage room. It sounded exactly like a TARDIS."

"That'd be our Time Lord assistance, Lieutenant Eris," Yvette shot up from her desk, straightening her jacket. She approached Eris, giving the young U.N.I.T. soldier a hearty pat on the shoulder. "Let's go see her, shall we?"

Together, they made their way to the storage room of their HQ within the topmost floors of New York City's Empire State Building. It was the ideal spot for U.N.I.T. to establish its U.S. division – high enough to operate without attracting local attention and to monitor alien activity from the skies.

When Dwonch and Eris arrived at the storage room, they found the large white orb that was Rania's TARDIS settled among the stacks of steel crates

When Dwonch and Eris arrived at the storage room, they found the large white orb that was Rania's TARDIS settled among the stacks of steel crates. Craig Williams emerged from it not a second afterwards; he looked exactly as Yvette remembered seeing him during their Abydos adventure. "Sweet lil' Craigy!" She couldn't resist swooping him up in a warm, friendly hug. "So good to see ya again, sugah!"
