Dragonstone was beautiful—her ancestral home. She felt at home, at peace there but she knew her peace would soon end once she flew to war with her army. She sat in the council meeting, her seat next to Rhaenyra and in front of Jacaerys Velaryon. Baela had informed them of her encounter with Criston Cole and his men. "Aside from what Lady Bela says, my little birds have informed me that the usurper has named his head of the King's Guard as his hand of the king" everyone was shocked there had been no news of King's Landing for a while. "I also know that we have Otto Hightower in our hands now. He will be brought here in the next few days" Rhaenyra smiled.

"How do you gather such information?" Ulf asked. "Every piece of information is valuable, no matter how insignificant it seemed to you. Knowledge is power. Power is power" she told him. "You are his sister, are you not?" he asked before pointing at Hugh. "We are distant relatives," she told him. Hugh wanted to speak to her but she had made it clear without words that she wanted nothing to do with him. "I proposed that Princess Rhaenys and I ambush Cole and his men. Lady Alicent's brother also rides with Cole and his men. Soon, Alicent's third son will join them. He has left Old Town and he makes his way here. Before he arrives I wish to crush him, near the City. Making a show of his death" the people in the room said nothing, they were ready for war but not for what it would require.

Jacaerys cleared his throat. "That is a bit excisive, do you not think?" he asked and she smiled. "Our queen has been kind, showing them mercy despite what they have to do to her. She has a kind and good heart, wishing the peace of the Realm. But, the Hightowers have rejected her advances. The usurper..." she stopped. They did not know. She scoffed. "You truly have been cut off from any information of King's Landing" she began. "When kinslayer returned to King's Landing and told them what happened, the usurper threw a feast in his honor, in celebration of Prince Lucerys' death" the room felt cold and quiet as no one said a word.

Rhaenyra's face faltered, the death of her son was fresh in her heart. "They.." Reina said nothing. "I am sorry. I assumed you knew" Rhaenyra shook her head, dismissing her words. "You have nothing to apologize for. You are the only one who has told me this. I had no idea" Reina nodded. "My queen, there is more" the people and the room were lost. Reina had come in, less than a fortnite ago and she already had so much information. "It seems the king consort has created a mess in Harrenhal. It is said Lord Blackwood was conducted in a way beneath his station, causing chaos with the Brackens. Forcing them to bend their knee for the rightful queen" the table had gone quiet once again. "But, it seems that Brackens are much more resilient than the Brackens thoughts" she added.

Reina stood up. "If you allow it, my queen I would like to head to Harrenhal and assess the situation before it becomes worse if I can. There's no telling how bad it may be since we have little to no information" Jacaerys wanted to argue and say no. It should be him going not her. But, deep down he felt small compared to Reina who showed strength and power. "And perhaps prince Jacaerys can join me. After all, he is our future king" Rhaenyra hesitated. She was afraid of history repeating itself. "I will watch over him. I promise" Jacaerys looked over at Reina, confused but he did not disagree. "Very well then. But, you must return soon" Reina nodded before turning to Jacaerys and giving him a nod. "Your grace, my lords, Ladies" she walked away and her men walked behind her as she did so.

Her dragons were near the falls, since they were too big to be elsewhere at the moment they waited for her there. Jacaerys had taken the skies and she followed right after, leaving her dragons to protect Rhaenyra and her people. Rhaenyra, Rhaenys, and Baela watched as the two flew away to Harranhal. "I think this war might end faster now that she is here," Rhaenys said. "I do not trust her" Baela said, speaking about the new member for the first time. Rhaenys smiled. "She is a stranger that we welcomed into our home. What if she hurts Jace? Or tries to take the throne for herself?" Rhaenys thought about but as she had come to spend time with the girl she knew Reina was different. Yes, she could take the throne with the men power she had, with her dragons, gold, and ships. She could easily have taken it.

Rhaenyra looked at Rhaenys and Baela. "I can understand your concern, Baela. I had the same thoughts. But, Reina lived in the Free Cities her whole life. She has her kingdom there with her family. Even her mother has her own. They do not need the Throne. We may have the Seven Kingdoms but she has The Free Cities. She has all she needs there not here. She too is a woman. She knows the struggle and she has sworn an alliance with Rhaenyra. She too is a queen" Rhaenyra walked away. Reina was a stranger, but in the times they were, she had no other choice but to trust her.

Rhaenys and Baela remained. "I know is hard. But, Reina will help us. This war does not need to end in bloodshed although I am sure there is no stopping it" Baela walked away leaving her grandmother alone. Jacaerys watched the best from afar, Meraxes was a beautiful dragon, she was worthy of her rider as her rider was worthy of her. They arrived in Harrenhal some time later. Daemon was talking with the Tully boy. "Prince Jacaerys Targaryen and Queen Reina Targaryen of the Free Cities" the men in the room stood, even Daemon to his surprise. "Welcome to Harrenhal, my prince. Your grace" she nodded. "May we speak with you Your Grace?" she asked Daemon who was very much confused.

Jacaerys and Reina told Daemon everything. "I shall fly to the Brackens and speak to them on why they should join the rightful queen. And if they do not see what I see, well, let's say by the time morning comes they will be a new lord Bracken" she said with a smile that was anything but sweet. She walked back to the room. "I hope that by the time I leave, little lord you have your men gathered here for your queen. I was not raised in Westeros but I am Targaryen with a large dragon and I am not afraid to burn those who side with traitors. I have a short temper and three dragons" she patted his head and walked off.

Jacaerys and Daemon watched the color drain from Oscar Tully's face. Daemon smirked, he was sick of the boy not making his decision. And now, someone made sure he was quick to decide whether or not he wanted to live or die. He was sure about one thing, Reina Targaryen was truly the blood of the dragon.
