Princess Rhaenyra was crowned as the new queen of the seven Kingdoms. It was the spring of the year 133, queen Rhaenyra was thirty-six when she became the queen of the Seven Kingdoms. That same year, she named her eldest child, her daughter, Princess Aerella Targaryen the future queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Every house and their lord came to swear fealty to the new queen and her heir. Princess Aerella was nearly twenty and her husband had just turned nine and ten. Finally, the queen sat in her rightful seat and there was peace. After celebrating her twentieth name day, Princess Aeralla and her husband moved to Dragonstone.

The Princess and her husband lived peacefully, raising their children right and with love. Her mother had sent a raven, saying she was with a child. Her daughter replied that she, too, was with a child. Rhaenyra had told her that this was her last child. She was growing older, and she did not want to risk her health or the health of her unborn child. King Daemon and King Laenor lived a good life, supporting their wife and daughter even from afar.

There was a tournament in honor of the queen and her daughter. Rhaenyra gave birth to another son who she named Aenys. Alicent and her children remained in King's Landing, Rhaenyra held love for her once-friend Alicent and loved her brothers and sister despite what others believed. After the tournament, Daemon returned to Dragonstone where he wanted to look for a dragon egg for his son. Laenor left for Driftmark, and with Lord Corlys still bedridden he had to return to take lordship of Driftmark, taking Lucerys with him. Baela had left for the Free Cities to gain an alliance with them. Rhaena was in the Vale, being fostered by Jeyne Arryn before her wedding with Lucerys. Joffrey was in the North being fostered by Cregan Stark. Aegon and Viserys were with their father in Dragonstone.

Rhaenyra was left alone, in the hands of her enemies and the Hightowers wasted no time. Alicent in truth had no idea, once Rhaenyra became queen she saw that her father was wrong and Rhaenyra did not want to hurt her siblings, she encouraged they stayed but she also said if they wished to leave they were allowed, she would help them should they wish to explore and such. Daemon had extended his stay, he trusted Rhaenyra was left in good hands with Ser Harwin and her hand, Lyonel Strong who had been loyal since he became her father's hand. Soon, Aerella would return to the King's Landing to learn from Ser Lyonel and then, she too would become the hand of the queen.

Rhaenyra became sick and soon enough she was too weak to even get out of bed. Lord Lyonel sent letters but none ever made it to Dragonstone. Rhaenys Targaryen decided to visit Rhaenyra and her grandson, she was the only one who would witness the death of the queen and Aegon usurping his sister. Aenar received the letter, hours after his brother's coronation. What caught him off guard was the end of it, the bitch queen is dead Aegon wrote. Aenar believed his mother's scheming had ended once Rhaenyra assured her none of her siblings would ever be harmed by her or anyone in the court.

Aenar had always believed Rhaenya was far kinder than what he had been told by Otto or Alicent. Before he left King's Landing, Alicent told him why Rhaenyra and her had this rivalry, he didn't understand as much but in a sense he did. Now, his sister was dead and his brother had taken her daughter's crown. Aenar was fighting an inner battle, should he warn his niece? Through a letter perhaps? He decided to go to her instead. When he arrived, Princess Rhaenys had just landed as well. "Princess Rhaenys" he greeted, both had somber looks in their eyes. She eyed him up and down. "Why are you?" she asked. "I have to inform my niece of something" he replied. Rhaenys scoffed, of course, he knew what his brother had done. "You know?" she asked and he nodded. "You know you might die if you go in there" she warned but not in a harmful way. He nodded. "I know" was all he said as the two of them made their way to the castle.

The princess was in the room with the painted table, her husband and stepfather were there as well. Her two little brothers were sitting down playing with their nieces. Daemon had proposed a marriage between them, as they were closer in age. "The Princess Rhaenys Targaryen and Prince Aenar Targaryen" Ser Lorent announced. Aerella smiled after hearing her grandmother's name, she began to walk over to her. "Grandmother" she greeted with a smile but stopped seeing her somber look. Aenor had the same look. "Grandmother? Aenar?" she called out their names. "princesses, princes," Dana and Mary said before grabbing the four children and leaving the room. "What has happened?" she asked. Both Rhaenys and Aenar could not talk, Aerella knew something was wrong, something in her mind told her.

Rhaenys walked over to her this time. She grabbed her arms and held her, gently. "Your mother..." Rhaenys could not finish her sentence. "My mother what?" she asked. Daemon walked over to them as did Jacaerys. Aenar stepped towards them. "Aegon sent me a letter" he looked at Daemon, he was afraid of him. "Your mother is dead and he has been crowned as king" he took a step back when he saw Daemon stepping towards him. "I swear to you, Aerella, I didn't know" he defended himself. Daemon stopped walking but he did not stop staring at him. "How did it happen?" she asked, she was in shock. "What about Aenys?" she asked. "He's a hostage. I escaped because Ser Erryk helped me escape, it was too late to go back for Aenys" Aenar took a deep breath.

Aerella said nothing. "I can get him," Aenar said. "They don't know I am here. They think I am still traveling back from Essos" Jacaerys was lost. He was trying to keep himself together as he was ready to grab his dragon and return to King's Landing and burn his enemies. "How do we know we can trust him?" Daemon asked and Aerella wavered but there was no other choice. "Years ago, Aerella showed me love and compassion. We were never close, but she told me she wanted me to be a part of her court when she became queen. Her mother, my sister, she showed me compassion. She allowed and helped me to travel around the Free Cities. What they did, it was not right" Aerella nodded. "Please, make sure he returns to us unharmed" everyone agreed to Aenar's plan but it was too late.

Before he made his way out, Harwin Strong rushed in. He was covered in blood. In his arms were two bodies. The body of a babe and the body of a woman. Rhaenyra and Aenys. Aenys was not Daemon's child, he was the child of Rhaenyra and Harwin. Princess Aerella took a couple of steps before she collapsed. Her screams echoed in the cold walls of Dragonstone. Her husband, held her close to his chest as she fought him in attempts to make over to Ser Harwin. She saw Daemon approach Harwin and take both Rhaenyra and the boy's body. She saw Daemon talk to Rhaenys and Aenor but no sound reached her ears. With Aenor's and Jacaerys' help, she stood. She felt the blood drip down her leg and she knew. "The babe is coming" she whispered. Rhaenys rushed to help her. The maester's and nursemaids tried to help her but she wanted no one's help but her mother's. Every time she gave birth her mother was there, holding her hand.

Aenor, Jacaerys, and Rhaenys spoke with each other before the maester approached them. "This should not be happening," he said in a low tone but she heard. "Well, it is fucken happening?" she muttered, gritting her teeth due to the pain she was experiencing. Jacaerys watched his wife suffer. There was nothing that could help her. Their brother was dead, their mother was dead, and their heritage was taken away from them. Prince Jacaerys Velaryon swore he would avenge his mother, his brother, and the throne that was taken from him. If only he knew that he would have to avenge more than he would ever thought he would lose, including his family.
